Abstract: Systems and methods for directly accessing video data streams and data between devices in a video surveillance system can include a first camera of a mobile device capturing an image of a field of view of a video data stream displayed on a second device, the mobile device matching the field of view with a source of the video data stream, and responsive to matching the field of view with the source, the mobile device retrieving the video data stream directly from the source.

Abstract: In various embodiments, a gateway application generates an outgoing Hypertext Transmission Protocol (HTTP) request based on an incoming HTTP request. In operation, the gateway application receives the incoming HTTP request and identifies an upstream service based on at least one of an HTTP method and a header included in the incoming HTTP request. Subsequently, the gateway application generates an outgoing HTTP request based on the upstream service and the incoming HTTP request. Finally, the gateway application issues the outgoing HTTP request. The outgoing HTTP request causes the upstream service to perform an action requested in the incoming HTTP request. Advantageously, the gateway application enables underlying upstream services to perform actions specified via incoming HTTP requests without directly exposing the upstream services to users.

In one example embodiment of a method for streaming an audio content item to an electronic device, the method comprises: receiving a first data message comprising instructions from an electronic device to return a preview segment associated with a selected audio content item, the preview segment being a portion of the selected audio content item; retrieving said selected audio content item from a first storage; analyzing audio content of the retrieved audio content item to locate a portion of the selected audio content item to be used as the preview segment; extracting the located portion of the selected audio content item from the retrieved audio content item; and transmitting the extracted portion of the selected audio content item unencrypted to the electronic device.

Abstract: The collection of data from multiple different Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) networks is managed for a large-scale work flow having multiple interdependent data collection processes. Embodiments of the invention are configured to coordinate and orchestrate the collection of data from any DLT network and communicate the data to any legacy system requiring such. As a result, the invention can leverage the areas of expertise afforded by each of the different DLT networks used to conduct interdependent data collection processes of the work flow. In addition, through use data collection extensions the present invention provides the capability to collect data from any known or future known DLT network and communicate the data to any requesting legacy system.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, an availability state of a user for joining a meeting is determined based on a physical environment of the user, and a call is initiated to the user based on the availability state indicating that the user is available for the meeting. Audio/visual data obtained from a client device associated with the user may be used to determine interaction data indicating an extent of interaction of the user with another individual. Interaction data indicating that the user is not interacting with the other individual either in person or on phone may be used to determine the availability state as being available for joining the meeting. Sensor data obtained from the client device, such as a rate of motion of the user, may also be used to determine the availability state. Meeting priority information may also be used to determine the availability state for joining the meeting.

Abstract: Intelligent data throttling in data movement operations, such as secondary-copy operations in a storage management system. A local throttling manager may intelligently interoperate with co-resident data agents and/or a media agent executing on any given local computing device, whether a client computing device or a secondary storage computing device. The local throttling manager may allocate and manage the available bandwidth for various jobs and their constituent data streams—across the data agents and/or media agent. Effective bandwidth for the secondary-copy operation may be adjusted based on available bandwidth from the computing device due to increased demand for the bandwidth from other operations, such as services that may be hosted on the computing device.

Abstract: A data processing method and a server are disclosed. The method includes: receiving, by a server, first service data that is sent by a first client (for example, an instant messaging application based client), and sending the first service data to at least one second client that has a friend association relationship with the first client; detecting one or more second clients responding to the first service data, selecting, according to a preset selection rule, a target second client, and assigning a processing permission to the target second client, so that the target second client generates second service data according to the processing permission and the first service data; and receiving the second service data, using the target second client as a first client, and using the second service data as first service data. The present disclosure can improve utility of an instant messaging application and enhance user stickiness.

The tablet access objects and associated application objects are redistributed among the servers in accordance with a first load-balancing criterion. A first request directed to a respective tablet is received from a client. In response, the tablet access object associated with the respective tablet is used to perform a data access operation on the respective tablet, and the application object associated with the respective tablet is used to perform an additional computational operation to produce a result to be returned to the client.

Abstract: A method in a network node for handling a traffic flow of a User Equipment, UE is provided. The network node is related to a local service cloud. The traffic flow is related to an application session to be served by the local service cloud. The network node identifies (202) a UE Internet Protocol, IP, address of the UE. When the identified UE IP address is used by another UE in a first Virtual Local Area Network, VLAN, comprised in the local service cloud, the network node selects (204) a second VLAN comprised in the local service cloud for local break out of the traffic flow of the application session to the local service cloud. In the second VLAN, the identified UE IP address is not used by another UE.

Abstract: Embodiments provide a method and a device for interworking between different OTTs. The method includes: obtaining OTT information of a target user; and performing an interworking processing operation between cross-OTT friends according to the obtained OTT information of the target user. Interworking between the cross-OTT friends is implemented by using the foregoing operation.
