  • Patent number: 9562639
Abstract: Method and apparatus for an improved cam lock fitting having cooperating double cam levers having outer and inner portions so that when the outer cam levers are opened and the inner cam lever remain closed, the male and female portions of the cam lock fitting only slightly separate from each other allowing the operator to quickly reclose the cam lock fitting if the operator observes that the cam lock fitting still contains pressurized material. This is accomplished by providing a larger cam lobe on the outer cam lever and a smaller cam lobe on a fork shaped inner cam lever so that when the smaller cam lobe is in a closed position and protrudes into a peripheral groove on the male portion the male and female ends have a small space thereinbetween.

  • Patent number: 9551156
Abstract: A method for converting expended plastic and metal containers into artificial rocks by removing the label from a plastic or metal container, removing the top, stuffing the container with compacted, smaller, expended plastic, beverage bottles, or cleaned, crushed, expended food cans, shaping the filled plastic container by means of a heat gun, or the filled metal container by crimping the ends, burning holes into the filled, shaped plastic container with a soldering iron or drilling holes in the filled shaped metal container with an electric drill. A first layer of wet stucco is troweled onto the shaped container, lightly pressed into the holes, and allowed to dry, whereupon a second layer of stucco is applied over the base layer and allowed to dry, after which a layer of colored cement is applied over the second layer and brushed and rolled while still wet to create different surface textures like those of real rocks and allowed to dry to form the final rock product that looks just like a real rock.

  • Patent number: 9545480
Abstract: A method for assembling a syringe includes supporting a syringe barrel having a stopper being movably disposed therein. A distal end of a plunger rod is inserted into the compartment of the syringe barrel. An initial digital image is taken of the stopper within the syringe barrel. The distal end of the plunger rod is coupled to the stopper located within the syringe barrel so that the plunger rod is secured to the stopper. A plurality of further digital images of the stopper within the syringe barrel are taken during or after coupling the distal end of the plunger rod to the stopper. Information determined from each of the further digital images is compared to information determined from the initial digital image using a computer processor to determine if the stopper in each of the further digital images has moved relative to the syringe barrel.
