  • Patent number: 10357685
Abstract: The present invention provides a training garment (1) for persons suffering from upper limb dysfunction. According to one aspect of the invention, the training garment (1) comprises a shoulder garment (10), which comprises a shoulder portion (11) adapted to be worn across a person's shoulder and a first main body portion (12) adapted to be worn around the trunk of the person. Both ends of the shoulder portion (11) are attached to the first main body portion (12), and the shoulder portion (11) has an area (101) for receiving a shoulder marker. The proposed training garment (1), due to its special design of the shoulder portion (11) and the first main body portion (12), can prevent displacement of the shoulder marker while the person is performing active rehabilitation exercises, such as raising up his arm, and therefore, it can improve the recognition accuracy of the movement tracking system for the rehabilitation training.

  • Patent number: 10296993
Abstract: A method of defining a performance milestone track for a planned process includes: selecting a time range relating to a repeatable process to define a set of average assessment trajectories, retrieving historical data representative of assessment data for actors in conjunction with selective assessments of the actors during performances of the repeatable process. The historical data includes an assessment parameter identifying a value for the selective assessment. The method includes processing a select time portion of the historical data using a binning algorithm to assign historical data for the select time portion across quantile range bins based on select ranges of assessment parameter values for the historical data and separately processing a select actor portion of the historical data for each quantile range bin using a smoothing algorithm to form the set of average assessment trajectories for the repeatable process. A computational device for performing the method is also provided.

  • Patent number: 10286254
Abstract: Interactive system provides training and assessments relating to joint stabilization capabilities and reaction-based performance for diverse populations. This system may enhance the subject's ability to generate and deliver power as a direct byproduct of properly timed decelerations originating with the effectors and supported by the verticality of the spine. Said decelerations also provide functional means for improving joint stabilization capabilities via improved co-contraction of the shoulder(s) joints and other anatomical locations on the subject. The resulting data may serve as the basis for predictive analytics relating to joint stabilization and the associated risk of orthopedic injuries. This system may also train/improve the dampening of internal forces resulting from aggressive weight bearing movements, and more effectively dissipate the force of received physical impacts.

  • Patent number: 10262530
Abstract: Customize safe speeds for vehicles are determined from information that is collected from multiple trips and multiple drivers across many road segments. The information collected includes the speed traveled along the road segment, possibly along with additional information, such as (for example) driver, time of day, day of week, weather and road conditions, angle of the sun or other factors. Given information from a new trip, the driver's speed can be compared on each road segment with relevant data from previous trips (from e.g., similar roads, weather conditions, drivers). The comparison yields a score representing the safety of the driver's speed.
