  • Patent number: 11823106
Abstract: A location-based medical scan analysis system is operable to generate a generic model by performing a training step on image data of a plurality of medical scans. Location-based subsets of the plurality of medical scans are generated by including ones of the plurality of medical scans with originating locations that compare favorably to location grouping criteria for the each location-based subset. A plurality of location-based models are generated by performing a fine-tuning step on the generic model, utilizing a corresponding one of the plurality of location-based subsets. Inference data is generated for a new medical scan by utilizing one of the location-based models on the new medical scan, where an originating location associated with the new medical scan compares favorably to location grouping criteria for the location-based subset utilized to generate the location-based model. The inference data is transmitted to a client device for display via a display device.

  • Patent number: 11682474
Abstract: A first set of user data is received and a user profile is constructed based on the user data and in accordance with a sensitive service involving the user. A situational context is analyzed based on the first set of data. Personalized questions are generated, responsive to the user profile and to the situational context. The personalized questions are presented to a user corresponding to the user data and responses to same are received, including detection of user micro-expressions. The responses are analyzed, according to one or more machine learning models. A neural network model selects an action to be performed in response to analyzing the responses from the user; the action is a sensitive service involving the user. An apparatus is triggered to send a simple message service (SMS) message to a point of care service professional; the message recommends performance of the sensitive service on the user.

  • Patent number: 11462313
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for adjusting a basal/bolus ratio in a standing insulin regimen for a subject that comprises daily amounts of basal and bolus insulin medicaments that define an initial basal/bolus ratio. A data set comprising glucose measurements of the subject with a respective timestamp for each such measurement over a time course is obtained. One or more fasting events are identified in the time course. A temporal glucose gradient is computed for each fasting event using the glucose measurements in the data set within the fasting event time period. Fasting event glucose gradients are used to determine whether to recommend adjustment to the basal/bolus ratio for the subject without change to the daily total insulin medicament. The recommended adjustment to the basal/bolus ratio is communicated when the determination is made to make the recommended adjustment to the basal/bolus ratio for the subject.

  • Patent number: 11328365
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for automatically identifying fraud, waste or abuse in health insurance claims submitted to insurance companies by healthcare providers. Insurance claim information and at one image associated with the insurance claim may be received, where the image has been submitted by a healthcare provider to an insurance carrier as supporting evidence of a medical service performed by the healthcare provider. The system may generate a digital signature representing the image, then may compare the digital signature generated for the image to previously generated digital signatures of other images that have been submitted in association with other insurance claims. The system may then determine a likelihood that the given insurance claim is associated with fraud, waste or abuse, based in part on whether the digital signature is identical or close to one or more of the previously generated digital signatures.
