  • Patent number: 9635360
Abstract: A method and apparatus for applying DF processing and SAO processing to reconstructed video data are disclosed. The DF processing is applied to a current access element of reconstructed video data to generate DF output data and the deblocking status is determined while applying the DF processing. Status-dependent SAO processing is applied to one or more pixels of the DF output data according to the deblocking status. The status-dependent SAO processing comprises SAO processing, partial SAO processing, and no SAO processing. The SAO starting time for SAO processing is between the DF-output starting time and ending time for the current block. The DF starting time of a next block can be earlier than the SAO ending time of the current block by a period oft, where t is smaller than time difference between the DF-output starting time and the DF starting time of the next block.

  • Patent number: 9610891
Abstract: A plurality of light sources to assist in image capturing is attached to a vehicle at low cost and simplicity. Three light sources that illuminate a side area in the same direction of the vehicle are fixed to and accommodated in the same housing in a state where light axes of the light sources are directed to different directions from each other. Through this, the three light sources are integrated into a side camera unit by the housing. Accordingly, by attaching the side camera unit only, the light sources can be attached to the vehicle at a time. As a result, the light sources for widely illuminating the side area of the vehicle can be mounted on the vehicle at low cost and simplicity.

  • Patent number: 9386297
Abstract: A reconstructed image which further reflects the photo shooting information of a main object is generated. A layer determiner defines a layer of a reconstructed image. A layer image generator reconstructs an image of an object included in the allocated depth range from a light field image and the depth map of the light field image for each layer. A conversion pixel extractor extracts corresponding pixels on a conversion layer which corresponds to an object to be modified. The object to be modified is designated by an operation acquired by a modification operation acquirer. A reconstructed image generator converts layer images using a conversion matrix defined by a conversion matrix determiner and generates an image whose composition has been modified by superimposing the layer images.
