    Abstract: An arrangement for pressing liquid-containing raw materials includes a press container which is rotatable about an axis of rotation and the interior of which is subdivided by a pressing membrane into a pressure-medium space and a pressing medium chamber. A filling and emptying opening, which can be closed in a pressure-tight manner and via which liquid-containing material to be pressed can be introduced into the pressing medium chamber, is arranged in the press container. At least one drainage element is located in the pressing medium chamber. The interior of the drainage element communicates with a juice outlet of the press container, via which liquid juice can be supplied to a juice collecting vessel during a pressing process. The press container is formed of a pressure-resistant flexible plastics material and is received in an inherently rigid support framework that is rotatable about the axis of rotation.

The filter press includes a press system adapted to exert a closing pressure on the filter plates to press the filter plates against each other. The press system further includes at least one electrically driven actuator adapted to generate an axially directed force on the filter plates by the movable head. The disclosure also relates to a method for separating the solid components from the liquid components of a slurry.

The clad billet can be hot-rolled to form metallurgically-bonded clad bar, or can be cold pilgered/cold drawn to form a metallurgically-bonded clad pipe.

The pipe stop body is positioned within a cup which receives the pipe element. The cup limits pipe end flare and limits the tendency of the pipe to go out of round during the grooving process. The device mounts on a powered chuck which turns the pipe element.
