Abstract: A system comprises a service platform comprising an applications server. The applications server is configured to receive an inbound communication, route the inbound communication to a speech-enabled intelligent script, the speech-enabled intelligent script comprising one or more of predetermined prompts and dynamically-generated prompts, and determine a source of the inbound communication and a destination of the inbound communication. The applications server is configured to determine that at least one prior inbound communication directed to the destination has been received from the source of the inbound communication. The applications server is configured to receive, in response to at least one predetermined prompt or dynamically-generated prompt, a request for direct contact information associated with the destination of the inbound communication.

  • Patent number: 11632465
Abstract: A determination is made that a real-time communication session (e.g., a voice call) between a first agent terminal and a customer communication endpoint has been placed on hold by a first contact center agent. An estimated hold time for the real-time communication is determined, based on a rule, in response to determining that the real-time communication session has been placed on hold. It is determined that the estimated hold time for the real-time communication session has expired. In response to determining that the estimated hold time for the real-time communication session has expired, one or more actions occur. For example, the real-time communication session is automatically transferred to a second agent terminal.

  • Patent number: 11632464
Abstract: Content of a communication session, such as a voice communication between a user and an agent of a contact center is monitored. A keyword, a phrase, an emotion, or a gesture related to a topic in the monitored content of the communication session is identified. A rule based on the identified the monitored content is applied. In response to applying the rule based on the monitored content, one or more topic suggestions are identified and presented to the user. For example, the rule can detect that the agent changed the discussion from a first topic to a second topic. In response to the agent discussing the second topic, the user is presented with two topics suggestions for the two topics. The user can select one of the topic suggestions to focus the agent on a specific topic suggestion. The selected topic suggestion along with discussions options are then displayed to the agent.

  • Patent number: 11622044
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a system, method, and computer-readable medium with instructions for recommending a service provider based on a user's approximate current location. The service provider may be recommended for a service that is verified under a user's insurance policy and is also within proximity to the user's approximate current location. The user's approximate current location may be determined by location-based technology. The entity that receives and/or recommends the service provider may initiate a request for the service from the service provider. Further embodiments are related to routing a call to provide information to the user that is responsive to the user's location-relevant request. For example, systems, such as an automotive telematics system, may request information and be routed to the appropriate division of a user's insurance provider such that the automotive telematics system can provide services to the user that are user-specific (e.g., covered by the user's insurance policy).

  • Patent number: 11611660
Abstract: Systems and methods described herein can automatically route an inbound call from an identified customer to one of a plurality of agents, the agent being selected on the basis of likelihood of a favorable outcome. The method determines a predictive model appropriate for the identified customer, with model variables including call center data, and targeted marketing data based upon risk data for the customer. An analytical engine calculates outcome predictions by applying the predictive model to values of model variables over a recent time interval. In a time-series analysis, this calculation is repeated while dynamically adjusting the recent time interval, until identifying a call routing option that satisfies a favorable outcome criterion. This method may be used to select the agent to handle the incoming call, and optionally to select a product for that agent to discuss with the identified customer.

  • Patent number: 11595520
Abstract: Initiating a conference call includes receiving a conference call request message from an initiating user specifying a plurality of other users and determining an availability of the other users to receive conference call invitations. A conference call is initiated between the initiating user and one or more of the other users that are determined to be available. The availability of one or more of the other users determined to be unavailable is monitored and interaction with a conference call invitation by one or more of the other users determined to be unavailable is enabled upon their monitored availability changing from unavailable to available. The interaction with the conference call invitation by the other users is conditioned on whether the conference call is still in progress.

  • Patent number: 11558504
Abstract: A call challenger can receive a user input from a called party identity to opt-in to a call challenge service, and a second user input of a keyword. When the call challenger receives a call directed to a user equipment of the called party identity, the call challenger can prompt the calling party to provide an audible response. In response to a receipt of the audible response, the call challenger can convert the audible response to a text. The call challenger can compare the text with the keyword to determine if there is a sufficient match. In response to the determining the output of the comparing does not satisfy a threshold match score, the call challenger can prevent the call from connecting with the user equipment.

  • Patent number: 11546460
Abstract: A terminal device acquires a displayable advertisement. The terminal device displays, based on determination that an output mode of a voice of a person on the other end of the line is a first mode in which the voice is output from an output device different from an earpiece, the acquired advertisement on a display within an invitation period during which a called party is being invited to answer an incoming call because of the terminal device transmitting information to make the call. The terminal device prevents, based on determination that the output mode is a second mode in which the voice is output from the earpiece, the advertisement from being displayed on the display within the invitation period.

  • Patent number: 11539843
Abstract: An enhanced routing system determines a service provider best suited to fulfill a user's request to interact and establishes a communication session between the user's client device and a device of the service provider. The enhanced routing system may use user characteristics and behavior to select the service provider. For example, the enhanced routing system receives a request to connect to a customer service system from a user who has recently started a new job and has been accessing a banking application on his mobile phone. The enhanced routing system may determine that a payroll service provider is best suited to fulfill the user's request. For example, the enhanced routing system uses a machine learning model that has been trained on previously fulfilled requests. In this way, the enhanced routing system improves upon systems that continuously prompt the user for information by selecting a service provider without overburdening the user.

  • Patent number: 11509767
Abstract: Example status prompt multimedia playing methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes receiving a first multimedia request by a status prompt application server, where the first multimedia request includes a non-idle identifier and is sent by a TAS. The status prompt application server sends a first multimedia response including a status prompt multimedia session description protocol (SDP) to the TAS, and receives a first multimedia acknowledgement message that includes a calling-side multimedia SDP and that is sent by the TAS. In this way, the status prompt application server obtains the calling-side multimedia SDP, and implements negotiation and acknowledgement of multimedia capability sets between the status prompt application server and a calling terminal device. The status prompt application server can play corresponding status prompt multimedia for the calling terminal device based on different non-idle identifiers.
