Abstract: Disclosed is an enclosure for artificial features such as artificial fish and artificial plants. The enclosure has one or more walls and is configured to house a liquid therein. One or more electromagnets are provided to generate a magnetic field within the enclosure. A controller is configured to control electric currents that generate magnetic fields from the one or more electromagnets. The controller is configured to selectively reverse the magnetic polarity of at least one of the one or more electromagnets. Also disclosed is an artificial feature such as an artificial fish or artificial plant with a body made of elastomeric gel. The artificial feature may include multiple permanent magnets housed in a body where the permanent magnets are aligned based on an orientation of a north pole and a south pole of each permanent magnet.

Abstract: An end frame assembly configured to be coupled to a product display structure includes an elongated post, an arm, and a sign holder. The arm is coupled to and extends away from a top end of the elongated post to define a free end opposite the elongated post, defines an internal cavity, and includes a bottom panel defining two or more slots extending longitudinally through the bottom panel of the arm between the free end and the elongated post. Each of the two or more slots provides access to the internal cavity. The sign holder defines a top edge including a rail section. The rail section slidably couples with the arm via one of the two or more slots and is at least partially maintained within the internal cavity of the arm. The sign holder extends through the slot and hangs downwardly from the bottom panel of the arm.

Abstract: A business form comprising a face ply and a lamination ply includes a matrix of self adhering labels positioned in a label area and a self laminating wristband positioned in a wristband area, all of which are defined by die cuts therein for removal upon use. The wristband is comprised of a left edge justified, reduced length imaging area releasably adhered to a laminating portion comprising a pair of laminating panels one of which is smaller sized to merely laminate the imaging area and with self adhering tabs at opposite ends of the panels. A wristband extender is die cut into the lamination ply within the profile of the wristband. A second embodiment includes a pair of separated imaging areas in the same space as the single imaging area along with special precautions labels die cut into the lamination ply for application to the second smaller imaging area. The wristband may be provided separately in an envelope sized sheetlet or in a page size form with multiple wristbands but no labels.

Abstract: A display for tail feathers of a game bird is provided which includes a wall plate lying in a first plane and a design plate attached to the wall plate. The design plate is spaced apart from the wall plate and is in a second plane parallel to said wall plate. A feather cover plate is attached to the design plate. The feather cover plate is spaced apart from both said wall plate and said design plate and is in a third plane parallel to said wall plate. The wall plate and the feather cover plate form a cavity to receive and hold tail feathers of a game bird.

Abstract: A fire door installation auditing/verification system includes a label that is adhered to a fire door in use. The label has a first portion adhered to the fire door, and a second, removable, portion, said second, removable, portion carrying detailed installation instructions for the fire door. The second, removable, portion is attached to the first portion such that, when the second portion is removed during installation, the first portion of the label is retained adhered to the fire door and provides a visual indication, post installation, that the installer has removed the second portion carrying the detailed installation instructions.

Abstract: A lighting system and methods for producing multi-color light effects are described. The multi-color light effects can feature at least two colors of light projected inside a firebox of an electric fireplace. The lighting system includes a projection surface, a reflective spindle, a first light-emitting device, and at least a second light-emitting device. The first light-emitting device projects light of a first color onto the reflective spindle. Light from the first light-emitting device striking the reflective spindle is reflected onto the projection surface, which can be a projection screen installed in the firebox of the electric fireplace. The second light-emitting device projects light of a second color directly onto the projection surface. The first color light and second color light can be projected onto adjacent, overlapping light projection areas of the projection screen so as to produce a realistic multi-color simulated flame effect.

Abstract: An exterior sign includes a main body, which has a design, a plating material, which is arranged on an inner surface of the main body, wherein the plating material is visible through the main body, and a double-layered protective layer, which is arranged on the plating material. The double-layered protective layer includes a first protective layer and a second protective layer. The first protective layer is arranged closer to the plating material than the second protective layer and has a lower level of contractility during curing than the second protective layer. The second protective layer has a higher level of corrosion resistance than the first protective layer.

Abstract: A recipient verification system including a band to be worn by a patient or other recipient that allows for placement of a hospital's own identification label, which is then protected from damage, an area for a permanent label, which can then be associated with the hospital label, a series of removable labels that remain with the patient, a test tube label, and a tail of labels to be removed from the band at the time of application to the patient to ensure a sufficient supply of labels. Each of the permanent label, the removable labels, the test tube label, and the tail are encoded with identical identification information. The band and label strip are separately formed from desired materials and then assembled.

Abstract: The invention relates to lids for containers, such as disposable beverage containers, which are adapted to receive and hold without adhesive advertising or promotional material. Lids according to the invention include a receptacle with a floor and an inner side wall; wherein the receptacle is capable of receiving the advertising or promotional disc, and the inner side wall of the receptacle is capable of holding the disc in the receptacle. The invention also encompasses an advertising or promotional disc and disposable container lid combination, and a method of providing advertising or promotional media to a consumer.

Abstract: An advertising device and method with an advertising display that comprises a sign holder mounted on the side or top of the vending machine in a position projecting upwardly from the top or laterally from the side so as to extend outwardly from the surface of the vending machine. Each sign holder supports removable print advertising or electronic video display advertising and holds the advertising display in a position facing forwardly toward a location taken by a customer when the customer is located in front of the vending machine. In this way, the customer's primal instinct attracts the customer into proximity to the advertising display and places the customer in a position that facilitates reading the advertising display so as to induce the customer to respond to the advertising display.

Abstract: A voice control electric fireplace comprises a housing, an imaging screen installed in the housing, emulating coal disposed in a lower front of the imaging screen, a flame shape board disposed in a lower back of the imaging screen, a reflecting module, and a first light source. A second light source is disposed under the emulating coal, a sound generator is installed in the housing for controlling illumination of a simulate flame of the fireplace, and the sound generator is connected to the second light source. A dynamic variation on the simulate flame is attained, which results in an attractive performance of the simulate flame.

Abstract: In one aspect, a rolling information display apparatus for use with a roller grill includes an elongated envelope. A cap is removably positioned over at least one opening of the envelope. An information bearing medium is removably positioned inside the envelope. In one embodiment, a sealing member is disposed to create a substantially watertight seal over at least one opening of the envelope. In another aspect, a rolling information display apparatus for use with a roller grill is a cylindrical rolling member having one or more rolling surfaces rolling in contact with heated rolling surfaces of the grill. The cylindrical rolling member also has one or more recessed surfaces bearing information about food items offered for sale on the grill. The recessed surfaces are provided in regions of the rolling member that are of diameter less than regions of the rolling member in which the rolling surfaces are provided.

Abstract: The auricular livestock identification tag comprising a male portion having a head at an end of a narrower stem, the head protruding laterally from the stem by an abutment ledge, and a female portion having an annular body with an axial aperture, and an insertion side opposite an exposure side, and a plurality of resilient abutment members extending inwardly from the annular body into the axial aperture, the abutment members being flexible to allow penetration of the head through the axial aperture from the insertion side to the exposure side, and resilient so as to return toward its original position, and under the abutment ledge, after said penetration, to thereafter prevent retraction of the head through the axial aperture.

Application in particular to making books formed by assembly of several panels.

Abstract: A wing shaped beverage can pull tab that is wide and tall enough to accommodate advertisements, logos, slogans, contest announcements, graphics, website addresses, etchings, or other marketing, promotional or informational messages targeting the consumer of the beverage. The wing shaped can pull tab can be detached from the can and stored in a pocket without causing injury because of its smooth round edges and compactness. The wing shaped can pull tab is large enough that it does not fall into the can when detached and create injury or choking hazard. The wing shaped can pull tab has a U shaped lift end that accommodates the insertion of a finger to lift the tab to actuate the opening of a can more easily. The contoured U shaped lift end of the wing shaped can pull tab also accommodates the septum of the nose to allow consumption of the beverage from the can without having to tilt the head too far back.

Abstract: A recipient verification system including a band having a base, a strap, and a closure device. The base defines a band identification portion for displaying a recipient identifier. The strap extends from the base, and the closure device is attached to the base opposite the strap. First and second slots are formed through the band. In a primary worn state, the strap is looped about a recipient's appendage and secured to the base via the closure device independent of the slots. In a replacement worn state, the base is severed from a majority of the strap and is secured to the recipient's appendage by a secondary band assembled through the slots.

Abstract: A support bracket for an upright tracer wire conduit proximate a pipeline riser with an above grade flange having bolt holes for receipt of mounting bolts. The bracket has a first hole sized to accommodate the mounting bolt shank diameter and a second hole spaced from the first hole and sized to accommodate a diameter of said upright tracer wire conduit. The bracket is thereby arranged for fastening to the above grade flange of the pipeline riser through alignment of the first hole of the bracket with one of the bolt holes of the above grade flange and fastening of the mounting bolt through said aligned holes in order to support the tracer wire conduit in an upright position extending through the second hole. A surface of the bracket facing away from the holes presents a label carrying area of the bracket for displaying identifying information concerning the pipeline or riser.
