The winding follows a generally helical trajectory around the longitudinal axis of the cylindrical body with a plurality of continuous round trips from the first end to the second end and turning back at each respective end, wherein each round trip completes a number of circumferential revolutions N, wherein N is greater than or equal to one, and wherein N is less than two.

This allows a main boom body to be reversed for switching between front-mounted and rear-mounted configurations by rotating the main boom body 180-degrees while retaining breakaway joints and breakaway boom segments in rearward deflecting positions.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a double pipe includes: drawing a plate (1), which has a predetermined shape corresponding to the desired final shape of a curved outer pipe (4), into a curved, substantially U-shape in cross-section to produce a half pipe (2). Then, an inner pipe (3), which has a curved shape similar to the desired final curved shape of the outer pipe, is inserted into and positioned within the interior space of the half pipe. Subsequently, the inner pipe is welded to the half pipe at one longitudinal end thereof. Thereafter, longitudinally-extending edges of the half pipe are curled towards each other until they abut and a substantially circular cross-section is formed that surrounds the exterior of the inner pipe. The abutting longitudinally-extending edges (22) of the half pipe are then welded together to produce the curved outer pipe (4).

The actuating device, via an external thread of the adapter, is configured to be threaded into an internal thread of the collet to actuate tines of the collet to grip the inner surface of a hole to be pulled. An end of the adapter opposite the pin is configured to be mounted to the pulling device, whereby the pulling device can be operated to pull the hole.

The electrical gearing arrangement includes a controller and a double acting rack assembly, the controller being coupled to the motor, the encoder, and the double rack assembly. The double rack assembly simultaneously actuates the fingers at a direction substantially transverse to the path.

The system and method utilize a resealable tube with retractable end-caps to safely store a hunting knife that may be contaminated with blood residue from a game animal that has been field dressed. The end-caps are configured with grooved cylinders to safely restrain a hunting knife so as to prevent dulling of the knife edge while simultaneously providing a fluid seal to the resealable tube to prevent contamination of the tube exterior with blood or other animal residue. Removal of both end-caps permits the tube and end-caps to be cleaned of game residue. Incorporated within the end-caps are integrated knife sharpening inserts comprised of ceramic and tungsten carbide to allow the knife to be safely sharpened in the field.

The alloy constituting the sheet does not have superplasticity features and the sheet and/or the mould are heated to a temperature in the order of 400°-450° C. for 5XXX series alloys and 450°-500° C. and over for 6XXX and 7XXX series alloys. The maximum pressure reached by the forming gas is in the order of 20-30 bars and the time required for forming the sheet is between 40 and 150 seconds and therefore is consistent with production rates in the automotive field.
