Abstract: A case for enclosing an electric device, such as a personal voltage detector is provided. Embodiments of the case can increase safety and convenience to wearers operating near high-voltage electric lines, and combine (i) the ability to wear the case in either an open or closed position around a user's neck, (ii) the ability to adjust the position of the case, when either open or closed, to an appropriate mid-chest or mid-torso position, (iii) the ability to use the device when the case is open and worn around a user's neck and the device is inside the case, and (iv) an electrically shielded enclosure. When closed, the case can disable the electric device, allowing the device to be always on.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide infant carrying devices. In particular, embodiments described herein provide infant inserts to carry an infant in a child carrier. Inserts according to various embodiments can comprise a flexible panel having a curved shape that narrows toward one end of the panel. The panel can define a front opening to an area to hold the infant. A cushion can be disposed at the bottom of the area to hold the infant. The infant insert can be adapted to support an infant in a wearer facing position with the infant's knees raised. In particular, embodiments of infant inserts can be adapted to promote a spread-squat-position.

In an exemplary embodiment, the insert includes an essentially elastic section and a limitation section, wherein a length of the limitation section limits elongation of the essentially elastic section. Abstract: A backpack for carrying school supplies, camping equipment, tools or the like, including a plurality of pockets or compartments for various items and particularly including a longitudinal compartment within each back strap for storing one half of a longitudinally split hood. When inclement weather strikes, the user opens the compartment within each back strap, pulls out each half of the attached hood and joins the two hood halves together via a connecting means such as a zipper. The user then recloses the back strap compartments and puts the backpack on using the shoulder straps whereby the hood extends from the top portion of the backpack. The hood includes ties for fastening the hood around the user's head and under the chin.

The receptacle comprises a mounting assembly (12) having fixing means (24 . . . 30) by which it can be secured to a piece of textile material and a container assembly (10). Each of the mounting assembly (12) and the container assembly (10) has mutually co-operative coupling means (26, 56) that permit repeated interconnection and separation of the mounting assembly and the container assembly. Interconnection and separation may be achieved by mutual linear movement. The coupling means may include a first component that has a groove (26) into which a formation (56) of a second component can slide. In preferred embodiments, the container assembly (10) is watertight.

Abstract: A hooking system for a motorcycle bag is described, comprising a framework, intended to be constrained to a fixed structure of a motorcycle, and a hooking plate, intended to be constrained to the bag. The hooking plate is provided with first fixed hook-shaped hooking means, suitable to hold a first portion of the framework, and second fixed support means, suitable to receive a second portion of the framework opposite to such a first portion. The system comprises moveable hooking means positioned at the second fixed support means and able to be rotatably actuated, by means of a lock mechanism, between a first operative position, to hold the second portion of the framework and keep such a framework hooked to the hooking plate, and a second non-operative position, to release the second portion of the framework and, thus, obtain the disengagement of the bag from the motorcycle.

Abstract: A neckpiece wearable by a user includes opposing arm segments operatively connected to each other and configured such that each arm segment defines a tethering element configured to removably retain a cable to the neckpiece. The arm segments may be arranged to retain the neckpiece to the user's neck intermediate the shoulders and jaw of the user, such that the neckpiece when worn by the user is not in contact with the user's shoulders and/or is not supported in position by the user's shoulders. An access opening allows the user to don and doff the neckpiece, and is preferably less than 35% of the perimeter of the neckpiece. The neckpiece may include a grasping interface to exert a grasping pressure on the user's neck. The neckpiece may include a physiological sensing element. The arm segments may be formed of wire. A connecting element may detachably connect the opposing arm segments.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed to conveniently carry a mobile device, among others, on a hand brace. The systems include a case to enclose the mobile device and a system to wear the apparatus on a hand. The systems comprise of a case; a case tether coupled to the case; a hand brace shaft coupled to a hand brace and a case lock to secure the case in a closed position. Also presented, a method to carry and use the device while tethered to a hand.

The elongate load carrying member (213) is selectively held in a deployed position by a latch mechanism (222, 255) which latches a castellated edge of the elongate load carrying member (213) to a castellated edge of the single elongate stay (214) along a significant portion of the interface between the two components (213, 214) so as to provide a strong support for any loads carried by the roof bar (10). The components (211, 213, 214) forming the roof bar (10) are all relatively thin and the elongate load carrying member (213) and the single elongate stay (214) are arranged to fold flat on the roof (5) of the motor vehicle (1) so as to minimize any change in vehicle height when the roof bar (10) is stowed.

The bicycle carrier of the present invention is easily assembled and installed onto the hitch receiver of a vehicle. The bicycle carrier can also be partially disassembled to allow access into the rear of the vehicle without interfering with the vehicle tailgate. The bicycle carrier includes adjustable angular support arms to support bicycles during transport.

The apparatus includes a trailer hitch receptacle shaped to receive the trailer hitch. The apparatus includes a pair of spaced-apart side plates. The side plates have first ends. At least one of the first ends of the side plates is connected to the trailer hitch receptacle. The side plates have second ends opposite the first ends which extend outwards from the trailer hitch receptacle. The side plates are configured to receive the frame of the trailer between the side plates. The apparatus includes a connector connected to the side plates near the second ends of the side plates. The connector is extendable between the side plates for fixedly securing the frame of the trailer.
