  • Patent number: 11828573
Abstract: A small arms form factor munition may package a control section with a deployment section in a munition case. The control section can have a first drag mechanism and a second drag mechanism. Firing the munition case from a firearm propels the load from the munition case and barrel of the firearm towards a target. A drag mechanism is selected and activated by the control section in response to a detected distance to the target while the load is in flight. The drag mechanism alters a flight characteristic of the load.

  • Patent number: 11768057
Abstract: A device comprised of bubble level inserted into and secured within a cavity located above the rifle grip and behind the barrel to facilitate the measurement and compensation of the rifle's cant while lining up the rifle's sights. The device is precision machined to allow the bubble to be aligned with the axis of the barrel to produce a true “zero-cant” condition. Graduation markings are placed on either left or right of the bubble level to allow the user to better judge the relative degree of cant. A light source is placed adjacent to the bubble level to illuminate cant for a shooter in a dark environment. Methods of using the embedded cant indicator for precision shooting are presented.

  • Patent number: 11754381
Abstract: To reduce the mass of a sabot having a pull and a push function, it is proposed that the sabot comprise mutually separate sabot parts, wherein at least one sabot part is configured such that it performs the pull function and at least one sabot part is configured such that it performs the push function. The sabot parts are nested. This can be implemented in the form of cylindrical nesting or in the form of tangential nesting. In the case of the cylindrical nesting, the outer sabot part encloses the inner sabot part along an interface. In the case of the tangential nesting, the sabot parts are divided into sabot subsegments. The latter are nested in alternating fashion in the tangential direction such that a pull-sabot subsegment and a push-sabot subsegment are nested in alternating fashion in the circumferential direction. To provide sufficient sealing, the sabot subsegments overlap one another.
