  • Patent number: 11516806
Abstract: A first wireless device receives, from a base station, configuration parameters of a resource pool of a sidelink. The configuration parameters indicate a primary zone configuration, a secondary zone configuration, and a first primary zone identifier of a first primary zone, a second primary zone identifier of a second primary zone in which the first wireless device is positioned, is determined based on a geographic location of the first wireless device using the primary zone configuration. A secondary zone identifier of a secondary zone in which the first wireless device is positioned, is determined based on the geographic location using the secondary zone configuration. The first wireless device transmits control information indicating the secondary zone identifier to second wireless device(s). The control information is transmitted via the resource pool, in response to the second primary zone identifier being the same as the first primary zone identifier.

  • Patent number: 11509559
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to managing communication over one or more networks. A monitoring engine may be instantiated to perform actions including receiving network traffic from a physical network that may be associated with network addresses of the physical network. The monitoring engine may analyze the network traffic to associate activity with gateway identifiers (GIDs) associated with gateway computers in an overlay network such that the GIDs are separate from the network addresses. The monitoring engine may be arranged to monitor the network traffic based on monitoring rules. The monitoring engine may provide metrics associated with the gateway computers based on the monitoring of the network traffic. The monitoring engine may compare the metrics to event rules. The monitoring engine may generate events based on affirmative results of the comparison. The events may be mapped to actions based on characteristics of the events and executed.

  • Patent number: 11503544
Abstract: A method and apparatus provide for receiving a discontinuous reception configuration, and receiving a monitoring configuration of a physical downlink control channel carrying a power saving downlink control information format. One or more monitoring occasions of at least one search space of the physical downlink control channel carrying the power saving downlink control information format based on the monitoring configuration is identified. The power saving downlink control information format is detected at one of the one or more monitoring occasions. A determination is then made as to whether to start a drx-onDurationTimer in a following discontinuous reception cycle based on a wake-up indication of the power saving downlink control information format.

  • Patent number: 11503587
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may be provisioned with multiple semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configurations. The UE may determine a differentiation characteristic for determining which SPS configuration is indicated by a downlink control information or associated with a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). For example, the UE may receive a first activation of a first SPS configuration and a second activation of a second SPS configuration. The UE may determine the differentiation characteristic between the first SPS configuration and the second SPS configuration. The UE may determine that one of the first SPS configuration or the second SPS configuration is the SPS configuration for a received PDSCH based on the differentiation characteristic. The UE may transmit an acknowledgment of the PDSCH based on the determined SPS configuration.

  • Patent number: 11438084
Abstract: A multiple access slotted wireless communication system comprising a plurality of terminals and a multi-access receiver is described. The multi-access receiver can decode multiple transmissions in each slot of a frame from terminals in its field of view. Each terminal has an active state for transmitting and an inactive state. After receiving acknowledgement of a successful transmission by the terminal, the terminal enters the inactive state for at least a transmission delay time. This may be the remaining time that the terminal is in the field of view of the multi-access receiver. This may be achieved by the terminal using a probability of transmission to determine whether or not to transmit in the next frame. The terminal may also be configured to select the slot in a frame, and this may be based upon information such as which slots were acknowledged. The receiver may use compression to transmit acknowledgement messages.

  • Patent number: 11431523
Abstract: An input/output (I/O) and control system for long distance communications and industrial applications having a bus and protocol for communications between field devices and a channel generator for monitoring and control of the field devices. The channel generator produces an offset square wave of configurable frequency on the bus, and sends a synchronization pulse of selected duration at the start of each bus scan cycle in a pulse train cycle to reset counters in the field devices before the bus scan cycle is repeated, to ensure field devices are synchronized, transmitters transmit on the correct channel, and receivers sample the pulse cycle at the correct time. Changing the synchronization pulse length increases bandwidth for shorter, less noisy and more stable systems and inversely decreases bandwidth for increased noise immunity and distance for longer, noisier and less stable systems.
