    Abstract: A prefabricated unitary body forming an archway is made of a light, durable material. The body includes a corner bead and abuts against the walls around the archway. The archway is nailed in place and drywall compound is applied, tapering from the corner bead of the archway to fill and cover the seam joining the archway within a framed opening of a doorway or window.
