    Abstract: The invention relates to a framework structure for a "cottage pane" style door or window. The framework structure includes a series of tubular framework elements defining formations whereby these elements are frictionally held together in their operative configuration. When so held, tie rods can pass through the auxiliary elements and apertures in the primary elements for bracing the complete structure into a unit.
