Abstract: Apparatuses for and methods of moving the ends of windrows inward are disclosed. The apparatuses of the present invention include a front end, a rear end and two opposing sides, the front end configured to be wider than the rear end, two skids attached to the two opposing sides, a gate rotatably attached to the rear end and configured to cover an opening in the rear end, a gate cylinder operably attached to the gate and configured to close the gate to collect fruit and/or nuts within the apparatus, and open the gate to distribute the fruit and/or nuts outside of the apparatus, thus eliminating the need to hand rake the ends of the windrows inward or to blow the ends of the windrow inward with a hand blower.

Abstract: An attachable trimmer includes a trimming unit, an arm assembly, a limit switch, and a rod assembly as the attachable trimmer is mounted onto a mower deck of a lawn mower. The trimming unit is connected with the arm assembly while the limit switch is oppositely positioned of the trimming unit across the arm assembly. The rod assembly is connected with the arm assembly in between the trimming unit and the limit switch. The rod assembly moves the attachable trimmer in between an expanded position and a retracted position upon the user's discretion. The trimming unit is only operational when the attachable trimmer is at the expanded position as the limit switch completes an electrical circuitry to electrically power the trimming unit.

Abstract: An agricultural seeder implement includes a seed boot connected directly to an opener having a leading extremity and a trailing extremity. The seed boot and the opener form a channel and an outlet. The channel extends forwardly from an inlet of the seed boot proximate to the trailing extremity of the opener to the outlet behind the leading extremity of the opener. The opener is for being pulled for cutting a furrow in the ground by the leading extremity ahead of the outlet, and the channel is for guiding a stream of air-driven seed forwardly therethrough from the inlet and into the furrow through the outlet directed downwardly in the furrow.

Abstract: A combination of a tree removal device and working vehicle for coupling the device thereon such that the combination is arranged for slicing tree roots. The working vehicle has a front element which is pivotable relative to a frame of the vehicle about a lateral axis in front of a forward end of the frame. The tree removal device includes an attachment portion for coupling to the front element and a knife element having a blade portion. The blade portion has front and rear edges arranged for engaging the ground in respective forward and backward directions of movement of the vehicle which are sharpened so as to perform a cutting action in the respective direction of movement when the blade portion engages the ground. Furthermore, the knife element is pivotable relative to the attachment about an axis in a vertical plane that divides the vehicle into symmetrical halves.

Abstract: One embodiment describes a self-aligning head bracket for a seed planting implement. The self-aligning head bracket includes a securing element that secures the head bracket to a hollow support frame of the seed planting implement and to support a row unit; and a vacuum port fixedly coupled to the securing element. The vacuum port interfaces with an opening in the hollow support frame to establish at least a portion of a pneumatic path between an interior of the hollow support frame and the row unit and to facilitate alignment of the row unit on the hollow support frame.

Abstract: A strip-till row apparatus includes a primary frame having spaced apart side panels each having an upstanding front edge and an opposed upstanding rear edge. A tillage assembly is operatively coupled to the primary frame adjacent the rear edges thereof and configured to contact a ground service so as to prepare the soil. An auxiliary frame includes an upstanding front wall and a mounting arm extending rearwardly from the front wall, the auxiliary frame having a linking member having a first end pivotally coupled to the front wall and a second end coupled to the primary frame. A selectively inflatable airbag includes a top coupled to the mounting arm and a bottom coupled to the linking member via an airbag mounting bracket. A relative downward force is applied to the primary frame as the airbag is selectively inflated or deflated, respectively.

Abstract: The method for harvesting a blueberry field comprises the steps of carrying a number of empty blueberry containers on a first pair of lower arms of four-arm lift assembly of a blueberry harvester; transferring a first empty blueberry container onto a second pair of lower arms of the lift assembly; filling the first blueberry container with blueberries, and depositing the first blueberry container on the ground as soon as it is full. The steps of transferring, filling and depositing are repeated with each of the empty blueberry containers carried on the lift assembly of the harvester.

Abstract: A mowing device for the treatment of vegetations is adapted for the attachment to a carrier and for the connection to a drive unit. The mowing device includes a frame, on which mowing spindles are mounted which are provided on one side with mowing blades and on the opposite side with distributing elements for the connection to transmission members. On the frame, a transmission mechanism for driving the mowing spindles is further positioned. The mowing spindles are arranged in two mutually parallel rows, defined by longitudinal lines, located in a mutual distance separation. The mowing spindles of each row are interconnected by the transmission members. The centers of the mowing spindles of the first row on a line are located in a mutual spacing. The centers of the mowing spindles of the second row on the line are located in the mutual spacing.

Abstract: A cotton handling system is provided for a cotton harvesting machine with an onboard accumulator and a baling chamber. The cotton handling system includes meter, beater and feeder arrangements positioned downstream from one another for processing and conveying cotton from the accumulator to the baling chamber. A sequencing arrangement includes at least one mechanical sequencing device operatively coupled to the feeder arrangement and at least one of the meter and beater arrangements such that at least the feeder arrangement has a start-up activation time that is different from the meter and/or beater arrangements.

Abstract: An apparatus for collecting surface seabed sediment. A cylindrical cover part is connected to a trigger, has an open bottom end, and has a position maintaining part disposed therein. A holder part is coupled with the position maintaining part, and has a longitudinal hollow space defined therein. A pipe-shaped sediment collecting part is detachably coupled at one end with a bottom end of the cover part, and has a receiving space defined therein, such that seabed sediment is accommodated within the receiving space. A head part is disposed at one end thereof on the other end of the sediment collecting part, has a hollow space defined therein, and has an insert blade on a periphery. A catcher part is disposed on an inner circumference of the head part, and allows seabed sediment to enter the receiving space of the sediment collecting part while preventing the collected sediment from being lost.

Abstract: A unique seed disk for use in a vacuum type agricultural planter is particularly suited for planting of canola seed. Seed apertures extend through the disk in the thickness direction from the vacuum-side face thereof to the opposing seed-side face thereof, and are each circular in cross-sectional shape. Each apertures features a cylindrical end portion opening through the vacuum-side face of the disk body, a first frustoconical portion whose wider end communicates with the cylindrical end portion, an intermediate cylindrical portion communicating with the narrower end of the first frustoconical portion, and a second frustoconical portion having a narrower end that communicates with the intermediate cylindrical portion and an opposing wider end that opens through the seed-side face of the disk body. A preferred embodiment features ninety seed apertures in the disk, and an accompanying twelve prong knockout wheel for dislodging debris individually from the seed apertures.

The tool (53) is capable of being moved from a first position with the distal end (54) extending forward from the first end (21) of the mower (20) into contact with the lawn to a second position where the distal end (21) of the tool (53) is positioned above and out of contact with the lawn. A receptacle (47) is disposed on the mower (20) and configured to receive the debris from the tool (53) when the tool (53) is moved from the first position to the second position.

Incident to receiving the advertisement, the first device establishes a communication path with a second device associated with the user. Utilizing the communication path, capabilities of the second device are determined. A version of the advertisement is rendered for the second device, where the version rendered is dependent upon the determined capabilities of the second device. And, utilizing the communication path, the rendered version of the advertisement is communicated to the second device.

Abstract: A system and method for delivering targeted advertisements to consumers by inserting the targeted advertisements into a content stream. The content stream may be monitored for advertisement placement opportunities, such that the targeted advertisements may be seamlessly inserted into the content stream to replace an advertisement in the content stream. The content stream's owner and/or provider may be identified such that revenues from the targeted advertisement may be shared with the owner's and/or providers. The system and method are further able to use a biometric recognition technique to verify that the targeted advertisement is actually delivered to the targeted consumer. Another aspect allows the targeted advertisements to be delivered across multiple platforms in accordance with an advertising campaign.

Abstract: An entity provides a competitive block list for one or more of its objects in a social networking system. The competitive block list identifies advertisers or other entities prevented from targeting advertisements based on connections between users and objects of the entity. If a later received advertisement is targeted based on a connection between a user and an object of the entity, the social networking system determines whether the advertiser associated with the advertisement is included on the competitive block list. If the competitive block list includes the advertiser, the advertisement is determined not to be valid, and not presented to users. Otherwise, the advertisement is determined to be valid, and may be presented to users thereafter.
