Abstract: Various trash can assembly embodiments are disclosed. In some embodiments, the trash can assembly includes a body and a lid assembly. The lid assembly can include a lid, and a multicomponent trim ring. The lid assembly can be rotatably connected with the body via a hinge unit. In certain embodiments, a flange of the trim ring is guided into and/or received into the hinge unit. A translating pin of the hinge unit can engage into the flange, thereby providing a rotatable connection between the trim ring and the body. In various embodiments, the translating pin is coupled with a handle to facilitate movement of the pin by a user during engagement of the trim ring and the hinge unit. A positioner can help to position the trash can against or adjacent to a wall or other structure. The movement of both the trim ring and the lid can be dampened.

Abstract: A refrigerator including an inner case, an outer case, and a vacuum space provided between the inner case and the outer case to insulate the inner case from the outer case. The inner case defines an exterior appearance of a storage space, with a communication hole formed therein. The outer case is spaced apart a predetermined distance from the inner case, and a communication is formed at a position corresponding to the communication hole of the inner case. A connection pipe passes through the vacuum space to connect the communication hole of the inner case and the communication hole of the outer case with each other.

Abstract: A waste storage device and an intelligent management system are provided. The waste storage device includes: a casing, a control module disposed in the casing, a microphone module disposed on an outer surface of the casing, and a moving module electrically connected to the control module. The microphone module is electrically connected to the control module. When the microphone module receives a first audio signal, the microphone module transmits the first audio signal to the control module, the control module analyzes an audio sending direction of the first audio signal, and the control module provides a driving signal to the moving module according to the first audio signal to drive the waste storage device to move in the audio sending direction.

Abstract: The disclosure is directed to a connector assembly mechanically interconnecting first and second structural entities of an aircraft container. The connector assembly has first and second connector parts fastened to the first and second structural entities, respectively. In a connected state, relative movement of the second connector part is restricted with respect to the first connector part in a first direction along a first axis of action. The connector assembly has a force-limiting arrangement in a connected state that limits relative movement of the second connector part with respect to the first connector part in a second direction opposite to the first direction. When an external force is applied to the second connector part and the external force has a first force component acting in the second direction and exceeding a threshold force the force-limiting arrangement allows the second connector part to move relative to the first connector part.

Abstract: Gear hooks may be attached to the exterior of a bag, such as a sports bag, to carry gear outside of the bag. In some embodiments, a gear hook may include a base portion, an attachment portion extending from the base portion, a neck portion extending transversely from the base portion, and an arm portion extending transversely from the neck portion. The arm portion may be spaced apart from the base portion to form a gap configured to receive one or more objects (gear) for carrying the one or more objects on the outside of the bag. The attachment portion may be stitched into or onto the bag. In some embodiments, the attachment portion may include a flange extending outwardly from the base portion and generally parallel to the base portion. In some embodiments, the attachment portion may include a spine extending transversely from the base portion.

Abstract: To avoid or reduce the necessity of loading a cargo container on a container carrying vehicle, for example, a cargo container 100 includes: engaging portions 101b disposed at four corners of each of upper and lower surfaces of a shell 101 and each engageable with a spreader of a container crane; and a wheel 113 capable of supporting the cargo container 100 such that the cargo container 100 is allowed to run. The wheel 113 is switchable between a runnable state where at least a lowermost portion is located below a bottom surface 101c of the cargo container 100 and supports the cargo container 100 such that the cargo container 100 is allowed to run, and a loaded state where the wheel 113 moves inward from the bottom surface 101c and the bottom surface 101c is allowed to make contact with a mount surface of the cargo container 100.

Abstract: An insulating container can be configured to retain a volume of liquid, and include a first inner wall having a first end having an opening extending into an internal reservoir, and a second outer wall forming an outer shell. The second outer wall can include a second end configured to support the container on a surface. The second outer wall can include a dimple, and the dimple can include a circular base and an inner portion converging to an hole extending into the second outer wall. The hole can be sealed by a resin, and the circular base can be covered by disc formed of the material. Alternatively, a cap can cover the dimple, and a weld can connect the cap to the second outer wall. The container can also include a sealed vacuum cavity forming an insulated double-wall structure between the first inner wall and the second outer wall.

Abstract: A drinking cup includes a container and a detachable closure. The closure has a connection end for connection to the container, the connection end being open for receipt of liquid from within the container. The closure has a closed end opposite the connection end and a drinking rim formed at the peripheral edge of the closed end. The closure has a side wall extending between the connection end and the closed end, and at least one opening that facilitates the passage of liquid from within the container to the drinking rim. A seal is supported by the closure and extends around an outside surface of the side wall, sealing the drinking rim against the passage of liquid through the drinking rim. The seal is flexible and responsive to pressure to lift away from the drinking rim to allow passage of liquid through the drinking rim for drinking from the cup.

Abstract: The trash can includes a can member, a fastener member for fixing a trash bag's opening, a hoist member, and a thermal sealing member mounted on the can member. The fastener member is detachably embedded in the thermal sealing member, the hoist member engages the thermal sealing member into vertical movement. The can member is also configured with a pump element, a sensor element, a power element, and a controller element. The trash bag is stretched open on the fastener member. The pump element draws air out of the can member and the trash bag is automatically expanded. The sensor element detects that the trash bag has expanded and the pump element stops pumping. The hoist member moves the fastener member upward to further expand the trash bag. The thermal sealing member automatically shrinks and seals the opening of the trash bag.

Abstract: Novel lockable safety closures and containers comprising the closures are described herein. The containers and closures are useful for dispensing valuable, dangerous, or potentially dangerous goods, and are easy for adults (including the elderly or frail) to open, but difficult for children to open. The closures include a displaceable slider covering a main opening for accessing the interior of a container. The slide includes one or more depressible tabs that keep to slider in a closed, and which can be opening by depressing the tab (or tabs) and urging the slider to an open position.

Abstract: A collapsible vessel for containing fluid comprises at least two interconnected tubular sections which are configured to move axially with respect to each other upon application of a substantially axial force thereto. The vessel is manipulatable between a collapsed configuration in which the sections are substantially nested to form a tube having a first length and an extended configuration in which the sections form a continuous tube having a second length which is greater than the first length. Abstract: Disclosed herein is a document destruction lid for preventing the retrieval of documents inserted through the lid. The lid comprises a skirt extending around a periphery of the lid for securing the lid to a container. A vertical sidewall extending downward from a top surface of the lid, having a height greater than or equal to 70% of a height of a lip of the container. A security structure for depositing the documents extends from a top surface of the lid. The security structure comprises a front wall, a horizontal slot, a rear wall extending upwards from the top surface of the lid opposite the front wall, and a top surface joining the front wall to the rear wall. The front wall and rear wall are angled away from each other to make document retrieval difficult while still allowing easy disposal of the documents.
