Abstract: This application describes resource unit indication methods, access points, and stations. In an example method, a resource unit allocation subfield in a trigger frame includes a frequency band range indication and a resource unit indication. The resource unit indication is used to indicate a multi-resource unit (MRU) allocated to a station. The frequency band range indication is used to indicate a frequency band range in which a resource unit (RU) in the MRU is located. For example, the frequency band range indication is used to indicate 80 MHz in which a smallest RU in the MRU is located.
Abstract: Techniques are described for providing virtual networking functionality for managed computer networks. In some situations, a user may configure or otherwise specify a logical network topology for a managed computer network with multiple computing nodes that includes one or more virtual networking devices each associated with a specified group of the multiple computing nodes. Corresponding networking functionality may be provided for communications between the multiple computing nodes by emulating functionality that would be provided by the networking devices if they were physically present and configured to support the specified network topology. In some situations, the managed computer network is a virtual computer network overlaid on a substrate network, and the networking device functionality emulating includes receiving routing communications directed to the networking devices and using included routing information to update the specified network topology for the managed computer network.

Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for creating a hybrid mesh of unlicensed wireless frequency bands between two or more vehicles communicating using an unlicensed wireless frequency band, and a massive MIMO base station communicating with the two or more vehicles using a licensed wireless frequency band. The hybrid mesh can be used to upload and download data from a vehicle in motion. The hybrid mesh can be formed via V2V connections between the vehicle and nearby vehicles. In other words, if a vehicle moves into a region outside the operating boundary of a 5G-NR massive MIMO base-station node, the vehicle can interact with other vehicles to generate a data pipeline using the unlicensed wireless frequency band from the vehicle the nearby vehicle, and using the licensed wireless frequency band from the nearby vehicle to the nearest, massive MIMO base station.

Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for sending messages between cores across multiple field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) and other devices are disclosed. A uniform destination address directs a message to a core in any FPGA. Message routing within one FPGA may use a bufferless directional 2D torus Network on Chip (NOC). Message routing between FPGAs may use remote router cores coupled to the NOCs. A message from one core to another in another FPGA is routed over a NOC to a local remote router then to external remote router(s) across inter-FPGA links or networks to the remote router of the second FPGA and across a second NOC to the destination core. Messages may also be multicast to multiple cores across FPGAs. A segmented directional torus NOC is also disclosed. The insertion of shortcut routers into directional torus rings achieves shorter ring segments, reducing message delivery latency and increasing NOC bandwidth.
