  • Patent number: 9377985
Abstract: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium, and apparatus for mobile print conversion and routing are disclosed. For example, the method receives at a mobile print server a print job request from a mobile endpoint device, determines at the mobile print server that a personal computing resource is available to convert the print job request, determines at the mobile print server to send the print job request to the personal computing resource and sends by the mobile print server the print job request to the personal computing resource for conversion of a document in the print job request that is to be printed.

  • Patent number: 9369606
Abstract: A hash table method and structure comprises a processor that receives a plurality of access requests for access to a storage device. The processor performs a plurality of hash processes on the access requests to generate a first number of addresses for each access request. Such addresses are within a full address range. Hash table banks are operatively connected to the processor. The hash table banks form the storage device. Each of the hash table banks has a plurality of input ports. Specifically, each of the hash table banks has less input ports than the first number of addresses for each access request. The processor provides the addresses to the hash table banks, and each of the hash table banks stores pointers corresponding to a different limited range of addresses within the full address range (each of the different limited range of addresses is less than the full address range).

  • Patent number: 9361053
Abstract: In one example, an email address of a network-connected printer is stored. A print authorization code is stored. A confidential-sender email address is received and stored. After the receiving and storing of the confidential-sender email address, an email is received. The email is an email sent to the printer address, and includes a print job. Responsive to determining the email was sent from the confidential-sender address, the print job is stored. Responsive to receiving the print-authorization code, the print job is sent to the printer for printing.

  • Patent number: 9335810
Abstract: Each of a plurality of image processing apparatuses notifies a management server that maintenance is to be executed. Upon receiving a response, the image processing apparatus disconnects communication to start maintenance. Upon the end of the maintenance, the image processing apparatus establishes communication to notify the management server of completion of the maintenance. The management server calculates the power consumption of the plurality of image processing apparatuses including a maintenance target apparatus so as not to be higher than preset total power by assuming that the maintenance target apparatus is operated at the maximum power consumption of the image processing apparatus. The management server sends, to the maintenance target apparatus, a permission notification for permitting the maintenance target apparatus to execute the maintenance, as a response to the notification.

  • Patent number: 9288353
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include receiving information indicating a component of an image processing device has been installed on the image processing device. Status information associated with the component is stored, the status information indicating the component has been installed on the image processing device. Information is received which indicates an operation performed on the image processing device is completed. In response to receiving the information indicating the operation performed on the image processing device is completed, the component is identified based on the status information. A counter associated with the component is identified and it is determined whether the counter has been reset. In response to determining that the counter has not been reset, an interface element is presented in a graphical user interface on a display of the image processing device, the interface element enabling a user to reset the counter by selecting the interface element.

  • Patent number: 9250834
Abstract: According to aspects of the embodiments, there is provided methods of decomposing and modifying a bitmap image before it is rendered by an output device. Segments of a print image are determined by an aptly programmed processor. In a bitmap driver process, dimensions and location of an area on each print image is processed so as to form objects that can be deleted, modified, or replaced. The process allows for the addition of objects such as tracking or security and the processing of objects to interpret the data found, remove it, and possibly replace it with data based on what was read. These modified objects are embedded in the output bitmap image without increasing its size by reusing dimensions and location of selected areas of the print image.
