    Abstract: This disclosure includes biometrically secured networked devices with enhanced privacy protection. One system includes a first biometrically secured device having a first sensor, and a second biometrically secured device having a second sensor. The first device is programmed to: (i) obtain a first sample of a first biometric using the first sensor; (ii) generate a secret biometrically derived key using the first sample of the first biometric; (iii) encrypt a set of biometric data using the secret biometrically derived key; and (iv) transmit the set of encrypted biometric data to the second biometrically secured device. The second device is programmed to: (i) obtain a second sample of the first biometric using the second sensor; (ii) generate the secret biometrically derived key using the second sample of the first biometric; and (iii) decrypt the set of biometric data using the secret biometrically derived key.

    Abstract: There are provided systems and method for wireless beacon communications through magnetic card readers. A check-in at a merchant location may be completed using a beacon at the merchant location with a communication device. When a user wishes to pay for an item, the beacon may alert the user through their communication device that payment may be effectuated through the communication device. The communication device may communicate a payment token to the wireless beacon that identifies payment information for the user using a payment provider. The payment token may be encrypted, and the wireless beacon may decrypted the payment token prior to transmission to an accessory of a point of sale device, such as a magnetic card reader using magnetic field generation. This payment token may then be transmitted to a point of sale device, which may utilize a payment provider and/or a payment card issuer to effectuate payment.

An inspection for multiple employment of postage fees and/or date stamps ensues on the basis of the date stamp. This inspection includes comparing a date stamp to be inspected to previously used date stamps stored in a data bank. Defrauders thus can be identified who, without paying, attempt to generate frankings or to multiply employ frankings, for example by copying.
