  • Patent number: 10475363
Abstract: An electronic device may include a display having an array of display pixels and having display control circuitry that controls the operation of the display. The display control circuitry may adaptively adjust the spectral characteristics of display light emitted from the display to achieve a desired effect on the human circadian system. For example, the display control circuitry may adjust the spectral characteristics of blue light emitted from the display based on the time of day such that a user's exposure to the display light may result in a circadian response similar to that which would be experienced in natural light. The spectral characteristics of blue light emitted from the display may be adjusted by adjusting the relative maximum power levels provided to blue pixels in the display or by shifting the peak wavelength associated with blue light emitted from the display.

  • Patent number: 10217409
Abstract: A pixel circuit and a method therefor, and an organic light-emitting display. The pixel circuit initializes an anode of an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) by means of a first thin-film transistor, a second thin-film transistor and a seventh thin-film transistor, and initializes a gate and a drain of a sixth thin-film transistor serving as a driving element by means of the first thin-film transistor, a third thin-film transistor and the seventh thin-film transistor so that the service life of the OLED and the service life of the sixth thin-film transistor are prolonged. The current output by the sixth thin-film transistor serving as a driving element is irrelevant to the threshold voltage of the sixth thin-film transistor and the impedance of the power wiring, and thus uneven brightness caused by deviation of the threshold voltage of the thin-film transistor and different impedances of the power wiring can be avoided.

  • Patent number: 10203804
Abstract: A degree of approach of an object in positions of a detection surface is periodically detected by a sensor unit, a group of detection data items indicating a result of the detection is generated in every one of cycles. The group of detection data items generated in the sensor unit is acquired in every one of cycles by a detection data acquisition unit. In the error determination unit, it is determined in every one of cycles whether there is an error in the detection operation due to noise based on a degree of a temporal change and a degree of a positional change in the detection data. When it is determined by the error determination unit that there is an error in the detection operation of one cycle, a process of acquiring the detection data generated in the one cycle is skipped in the detection data acquisition unit.
