  • Patent number: 11920354
Abstract: A modular guardrail system relates to a set of interconnected beams that each fit into pairs of detachable bases, thus allowing for the creation, adjustment, and removal of a variety of configurations of temporary fence-style barriers. Each guardrail section may include two vertical posts, one on each end of each guardrail section, connected by a set of horizontal beams and, in some cases, a horizontal toeplate. Adjacent guardrail sections share a common base, thus allowing for the chain assembly of an extended barrier. The base that connects to the guardrail sections may include several vertically-oriented brackets that may slide into the different guardrail posts. The placement of the vertical brackets upon the base is selected so that each of the attached guardrail sections can be arranged independently of one another in any direction. The vertical brackets may be rotatably attached, thereby allowing for more flexible arrangements of the guardrail sections.

  • Patent number: 11913182
Abstract: A force-absorbing barrier includes a plurality of chambers at least partially filled with fluid. The walls defining the chambers are flexible. Fluid passages in the interior walls between chambers allow fluid flow between the chambers. Alternatively, the chambers are filled with structures instead of or in addition to a fluid. The fluid flow from chamber to chamber and/or the deformation of the structures will absorb energy from the impact a motor vehicle, preventing the vehicle from impacting the terminal of a guardrail.

  • Patent number: 11903348
Abstract: An irrigation system having a pipeline supported by one or more towers includes an improved truss connection system having a means for readily adjusting a crown height of the pipeline. A pair of cooperating members define a joint which selectively couples headed ends of adjacent truss rods together to form a truss rail of a truss system that supports the pipeline. A single fastener may fasten the cooperating members, a strut, and a cross-member together at the joint. A length of the truss rail may be decreased by holding the truss rods closer together. In an aspect, the headed ends of the adjacent truss rods are held closer together by inserting a shim in one of the joints. Decreasing the length of the truss rail increases the deflection of the pipeline and raises the crown height.

  • Patent number: 11879262
Abstract: A fence erecting assembly for anchoring a stretched fence includes a pair of posts that can each be driven into ground. A pair of lower sleeves is each slidable over a respective one of the posts and a pair of tubes is each coupled to a respective one of the lower sleeves. A pair of upper sleeves is each slidable over a respective one of the posts. A pair of support rods is each insertable through a respective one of the tubes such that each of the support rods is oriented to extend diagonally between the posts. A connection point on each of the support rods is attachable to a mounting tab on a respective one of the upper sleeves thereby inhibiting the pair of posts from tipping toward or away from each other. In this way the pair of posts can serve as an anchor point for a stretched fence.
