Abstract: A system for positioning a patient on a support structure having a support surface includes a sheet configured to be positioned on the support surface, the sheet comprising a first fastening element, and a roll strap comprising a top edge and a bottom edge. The roll strap further comprising at least one connection end configured to engage with a portion of the support structure to maintain the patient positioned on the sheet and the roll strap in an angled position relative to the support surface, where at least one of the top edge or the bottom edge of the roll strap comprises a second fastening element that is configured to removably couple with the first fastening element.

Abstract: A mattress cover includes a bottom panel, a top panel, a fixed side panel joined to the bottom panel and an expansion side panel joined to the fixed side panel and to the top panel. A fully separable expansion closure has a first part at an expansion panel upper edge and a second part at an expansion panel lower edge. When the expansion panel closure parts are engaged, the expansion panel is in an unexpanded state to define a first interior volume of the cover and the cover accommodates mattresses of a height in a first range of heights. When the expansion panel closure parts are disengaged, the expansion panel is in an expanded state to define a second interior volume of the cover larger than the first interior volume, and the mattress cover accommodates mattresses of a height in a second range of heights larger than the first range of heights.

Abstract: A couchtop board overlay for a patient couchtop board extends along a longitudinal direction from a first end section to a second end section. The couchtop board overlay includes a first countercoupling interface in the first end section, wherein, in a state coupled to the first coupling interface, the first countercoupling interface is configured to transmit an application of force in the longitudinal direction onto the couchtop board overlay. The couchtop board overlay further includes a second countercoupling interface in the second end section, wherein, in a coupled state, the second countercoupling interface is connected to the second coupling interface in at least one of a positive-locking or a force-fitted manner.

Abstract: The present invention provides the bed robot apparatus in which a lying object, including a person such as a patient, a disabled person, etc. can be shifted to another apparatus without changing a lying state, and the apparatus autonomously communicates with another apparatus so as to collaborate depending on the situation of the object. Specifically, according to the feature of the present invention, a bed robot apparatus comprising: a mattress partitioned into positions corresponding to body parts of a user in a longitudinal direction; and a porous flexible sheet reciprocating in a lateral direction on the upper surface of the mattress for each divided upper plate is provided. The bed robot apparatus of the present invention can autonomously execute all functions through an autonomous execution unit.

Abstract: A patient positioning device attachable to a medical table comprising a base configured to overlie the table and underlie the patient, wherein the upper surface of the base faces the patient and the lower surface faces the table. One or more supports are removably attachable to the base to support a body region of the patient. The base can be composed of a foam material with a covering material for removable attachment of the supports. Various shapes, sizes and function of the supports can be used.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides one or more embodiments involving a novel bedding system that, for example, promotes control of a blanket, a sheet, and/or a pillowcase. The present disclosure improves and maintains bedding placement when one is in a bed, such that a blanket does not become congested or misaligned in relation to a top sheet or in relation to the bed itself. One or more embodiments of the bedding system include buttons located on the sheet and/or pillowcase that feed through holes on the blanket and the opposite side of the pillowcase, thereby securing the sheet to the blanket and allowing the pillowcase to reliably encapsulate a pillow contained within.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein are directed to a travel pillow having a neck portion, a hood portion, and a support assembly. The neck portion includes a cavity and a rear exterior surface having one or more first mating elements. The hood portion extends from the neck portion and includes an inwardly foldable lining. The hood portion includes one or more second mating elements disposed on a front exterior surface thereof and configured to mate with the one or more first mating elements. The support assembly is insertable within the cavity. The support assembly includes an outer covering, a foam insert disposed within the outer covering, and a padding layer. The padding layer is disposed between the foam insert and an inner surface of the outer covering. The padding layer is asymmetrically distributed along a length of the support assembly.

The mat includes an upper covering layer, a lower covering layer, and a plurality of blocking layers horizontally disposed between the upper and lower covering layers. The blocking layers pass through a plurality of longitudinal connecting members to be positioned at different positions. The blocking layers are partially wavy through the structural characteristics of the longitudinal connecting members, and the interior of the mat has a plurality of layered spaces formed by the blocking layers, so that the mat can reduce the possibility of air convection, so as to block air convection and prevent temperature radiation.

Abstract: A bedding system can include a combination sheet and comforter. A sheet can be removably affixed to a comforter. Connecting the sheet and the comforter can be accomplished by the use of buttons, hook and loop fastener, ribbon, cloth ties, or hooks. A top side of the sheet can include an array of buttons in columns and rows. An amount of buttons can be adjusted based on an intended size of the bedding system. The comforter can include a plurality of buttonholes, where each of the buttonholes on the comforter corresponds to one of the buttons of the sheet. It should be appreciated that each of the buttons and the buttonholes can be disposed in various patterns, arrangements, or arrays so long as the pattern of the buttons of the sheet corresponds to the pattern of the buttonholes of the comforter.
