    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a packaging container and a method of producing a packaging container for liquid contents. The packaging container has a casing produced from a web-shaped multilayer material and in the form of a sleeve, which, at one end, is connected to a bottom portion and at the other end is connected to a top portion produced from a blow molded thermoplastic material. The casing is formed by winding of the multilayer material into sleeve form and liquid-tight sealing of the material edges to a joint seam extending longitudinally of the sleeve, the top portion being manufactured in that thermoplastic material is extruded to form a hose which is blow molded into continuous top portions which are separated from one another and connected to the sleeve.

The cover is removably engageable with the base receptacle such that at least a portion of the cover engages at least a portion of the at least one rim portion when the cover is installed on the base receptacle thereby providing at least one peripheral area of contact between the cover and the base receptacle for securing a flexible bag liner therebetween. The base receptacle and cover are molded together as a one piece integral unit joined together by a web of material which connects the two component parts together. The cover is separated from the base receptacle by removal of the web of material.

    Abstract: A metal finishing barrel side opening has a cover secured by a series of cover and barrel tabs, the cover slid into a secured position with the cover tabs partially overlain by the barrel tabs. A locking handle assembly includes a graspable portion supported on a deflectable spring blade attached to the cover at one end which allows the handle assembly to move away from an aligned locator feature on the barrel as the cover is pushed into position. When the cover is shifted lengthwise, the handle assembly moves past the locking feature, and the locking blade pushes the handle assembly back down alongside the locking feature which then prevents reverse sliding of the cover back from under the barrel tabs. When the handle is pulled to initiate removal of the cover, the handle assembly is then moved out above the locking feature to enable the cover to be slid to the released position. An automation apparatus interacts with one form of the locking assembly to automatically install and remove the cover.

In particular, the tab includes a pair of extending members angled toward one another and connected by a transverse member. The shape of the tab allows it to be molded in a downward orientation and later folded to a stable, upward orientation without reheating or otherwise resetting the tab.

    Abstract: A strap mounting space is formed around a boss formed on an upper cover and a lower cover which, when assembled together, form a case for an apparatus. One, or each, of the upper cover and the lower cover is/are formed integrally with a respective boss, preferably at each corner, so that the respective bosses at corresponding, common corners of the upper and lower covers, when assembled, are in an aligned and abutting relationship. A slits is formed in one of the corners of the upper and lower covers, extending around the respective boss(es) thereof, making up a strap mounting space. A screw 9 is inserted into a corresponding axial hole extending through each boss, affording a sufficient strength of the abutting bosses for supporting the case, with the apparatus therein, by a strap received through the strap mounting space.

An inflation device for pressurizing the bladder is located within the shell. A manual or air compressor inflation device operation are contemplated. A pressure release valve in full communication with the bladder prevents bladder inflation above a pre-selected threshold and also is activated to release a beverage container from the inventive cup holder.

The valve assembly includes a vent member and a flow limiter. The vent member is located at the open end of the bag adjacent an end of the closure mechanism such that the first end of the internal passage is in fluid communication with the bag interior. The internal passage provides an exit path for discharge of a pressurized fluid from the interior of the bag. The flow limiter may include an end portion of a closure clamp adapted to receive the vent member.

The exhaust means for controlling pressure inside the air pocket is performed by opening and closing the exhaust port.

    Abstract: A bag has one side wall of a synthetic resin mesh material and the other side wall of a synthetic resin film. Each of the side walls has a draw sleeve or top extending along its upper portion to receive a draw tape, draw string, draw band, draw cord or the like. The synthetic resin film side wall has a side wall portion which extends below the mesh wall, with a lower fold being formed in the film wall to form a bottom of the bag. The synthetic resin film side also has an extension from the lower fold which is folded upwardly to join with and enclose a lower portion of the mesh side wall. The bottom portion of the bag is thus formed of synthetic resin film which yields to the impact of articles entering the bag to fill it. No seam is present between the side walls of the bag in the bottom area of the bag where it would be subject to the impact of entering articles.

The upper portion of each of the walls is so shaped that when they are in upright position, they cooperate to provide a recessed ledge.
