  • Patent number: 11167939
Abstract: A tubular or cylindrical unit that creates a vortex effect with externally supplied pressurized fluid injected angularly within a transport structure is provided. Such a unit is utilized to either accelerate the vacuum and/or air conveyance of liquids, solid aggregates, and gases, reduce the energy required for such materials transport processes, or both. Such a result is achieved through the introduction of pressurized fluid via a plurality of injectors situated evenly around the circumference of the subject tube, pipe, and/or cylinder, and angled uniformly for an even pressure injection of fluid within the conveyance component thereof. In effect, through such injection of pressurized fluid, the overall transport system may be operated at significantly reduced cost while increasing the efficiency of overall vacuum and air conveyance systems simultaneously. The method of utilization of such a device is also encompassed within this invention.

  • Patent number: 11161699
Abstract: A mixture of gas and solid particles are conveyed through a piping circuit connected between initial and terminal points. The gas is introduced at the initial point and the particles are introduced between the initial and terminal points. A diameter of the piping circuit increases downstream of where the particles are introduced, and a velocity of the gas is at least as great as a pick-up velocity of the particles at the point where the particles are introduced into the piping circuit. In addition to the above constraints, the piping circuit is sized so that total pressure losses due to flow in the piping circuit between the initial and terminal points are within a designated amount.

  • Patent number: 11097908
Abstract: A linear conveyor to transport an article includes a base platform provided with a stator, movers configuring the linear motor and holding members for holding an article provided on the movers. The holding member is arranged at a position which is radially outwardly apart from the traveling track of the mover by a predetermined distance. When the movers travel on a curved traveling track served by the stator, the controller controls the interval of the adjacently arranged movers to narrower than the interval when the movers travel on an immediately preceding linear traveling track, and so that when the movers travel on a linear traveling track on the stator, the interval between the adjacently arranged movers is wider than the interval when the movers travel on the immediately preceding curved traveling track, thereby setting the interval between the holding members of the adjacently arranged movers to be constant.
