  • Patent number: 9872588
Abstract: A blender collar assembly including a plunger moveable between a lower position where a blade assembly is prevented from coupling with a motor, and an upper position where the blade assembly is able to couple with the motor. The plunger includes an arm extending upward and having a u-shaped feature, and a protrusion associated with the u-shaped feature. The assembly further includes a concentric interlock ring rotating responsive to rotation of a blender jar. The interlock ring including a first portion engaging the u-shaped feature preventing the plunger from moving upward, a second gap portion not engaging the u-shaped feature enabling the plunger to move upward and downward within the collar, and a key engaging a protrusion of the blender jar as the plunger moves upward preventing the interlock ring from rotating while the second portion is rotationally aligned with the u-shaped feature.

  • Patent number: 9808948
Abstract: A food chopper includes a housing and a chopping blade assembly disposed therein. The chopping blade assembly is held and guided in a guide of the housing so as to be movable to-and-fro along an operating direction counter to a force of a return spring in such a manner that the chopping blade assembly, during movement along the operating direction, is forcibly rotated and held in the upper rest position by the return spring and, in order to chop the food, is movable from the upper rest position downward against a counter-bearing face. A scraper element is rotationally driven by rotational movement of the chopping blade assembly and has a scraper edge having an elastic lip which is configured, during the rotational movement of the scraper element, to bear on an inner side of a side wall of the housing.

  • Patent number: 9770877
Abstract: A flattening apparatus with a roller system including an impact resistant system and a first conveyor belt facing and arranged opposite to the impact resistant system and having a flattening area between the first conveyor belt and the impact resistant system. The roller system is rotatable mounted adjacent to the first conveyor belt distally away from the impact resistant system across the first conveyor belt. Foodstuff is flattened and compressed by rotating the roller system while conveying the foodstuff through the flattening area such that an outwardly protruding surface structure presses the first conveyor belt towards the impact resistant system. The surface structure is askew in relation to the longitudinal axis of the roller system and is designed with a portion provided in contact with the first conveyor belt at all times during rotation of the roller system.

  • Patent number: 9616481
Abstract: A switching unit is capable of switching in a stepwise manner a relative position of a second die with respect to a cutting member in an approaching-and-separating direction. A restriction member abuts on the second die and restricts a position of the second die with respect to a movable body in the approaching-and-separating direction. A driving unit changes a position of the restriction member with respect to the second die, and switches an abutment state of the restriction member with respect to the second die. A level difference is formed on a surface on a side of the restriction member facing to the second die, and/or on a surface on a side of the second die facing to the restriction member.
