The touch input sensing device includes: a plurality of sensing electrodes; and a controller obtaining sensing signals generated from the plurality of sensing electrodes through a plurality of sensing channels electrically connected to the plurality of sensing electrodes, wherein the controller calculates a difference value between the sensing signals obtained from the plurality of sensing channels connected to the mutually adjacent sensing electrodes among the plurality of sensing electrodes to determine a touch input. A weighting value is assigned to a difference value between sensing signals obtained from mutually adjacent sensing electrodes, based on which the coordinates, or the like, of a touch input are determined, thus significantly reducing the influence of noise and accurately determining a touch input.

Size and spacing of the keys may vary dynamically in response to environmental conditions, user interactions, and so forth. Thus, the area of a control on the touch sensor may be larger when operated in a high vibration or motion environment, such as on a train, walking, and so forth. Additionally or alternatively, the position of control areas may dynamically change to adjust to the user.

    Abstract: An object of the invention is to suppress degradation in image quality of a liquid crystal display device which performs display by field sequential method and to reduce power consumption of a backlight. The highest brightness of a first color light in a pixel region is detected. Gamma correction is performed so that transmittance of a pixel of the region displaying the highest brightness of the first color light is set to maximum and transmittance of other pixel of the region is decreased in accordance with lowering of the first color light intensity, and the region is irradiated with the highest brightness of the first color light. Similarly, a second color light is irradiated in another region concurrently with irradiation of the first color, whereby input of an image signal and lighting of the backlight are performed simultaneously in every region of the pixel portion.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of extending a pixel gray scale. The secondary gray scale levels with different charging times and the same gray scale voltage are formed by controlling a charging time of the gray scale voltage of every primary gray scale level and refining the level, wherein, the gray scale voltage of the every secondary gray scale level is the same as that of the corresponding primary gray scale level, and its charging time corresponds to the secondary gray scale level. The primary gray scale level of the display pixel of the liquid crystal panel is extended by using this method and the disadvantage of the imperfect display brought forward by the control method using frame rate in the prior art is overcome. The present invention further provides a drive method of controlling the pixel charging time and a drive apparatus thereof, which realizes the pixel gray scale extension by controlling the charging time of the pixel capacitance.

Inversion techniques involve driving image signals having a first polarity to data lines of a pixel matrix during a first time period and driving image signals having an opposite polarity to the data lines during a second time period. In some embodiments, the pixels may be configured to have electrodes having only two finger electrodes, thus widening the distance between electrodes and decreasing the susceptibility for crosstalk between pixels. In some embodiments, horizontal cross-talk of electromagnetic fields between pixels may be further reduced by configuring the data line driving scheme such that voltage polarity is flipped for the pixels along every two, three, or more data line columns. Furthermore, a Z inversion pattern may be employed to reduce the occurrence of undesirable display artifacts.
