Abstract: An anchoring device (1) for anchoring an equipment to a civil engineering structure includes a support plate (5) for the equipment, with at least two orifices (7); for each orifice (7), a longitudinal dowel (13) intended to be rigidly fastened in the civil engineering structure (3); for each orifice (7), a fastening member (25) mounted around the dowel (13); for each orifice (7), a connection (27) of the fastening member (25) to the plate (5), allowing the fastening member (25) to be placed at any given position in a defined region of the orifice (7) in a plane parallel to the plate (5); and for each orifice (7), a reversible lock (55) for blocking the fastening member (25) with respect to the plate in the given position and for blocking the fastening member in position along the dowel (13).

Abstract: A construction method for building a post frame building by first constructing the roof near ground level. The roof assembly can have a removeable safety net system and be coupled to a plurality of support members, such as columns having a hinge connection to the roof assembly. Upon the roof system being lifted, the hinged columns can fold under the roof system and then be coupled to one or more anchor points established in the ground. The roof system can be raised into position at a pre-determined height using a lifting apparatus, such as a hydraulic lift.

Abstract: An embedded fire-resistant device includes a mounting plate, a container and a fire-resistant member. The mounting plate has a contact surface and a first connection member provided on the mounting plate. The container has an open side and a second connection member provided on the open side. The fire-resistant member is received in the container. The first connection member and the second connection member are configured to slidably couple to or separate from each other so that the mounting plate and the container can engage with or separate from each other. This is a design that benefits in installation and future inspection.

The fastener extends at least partly through the apertures of the base, boss plate and beam wall and is threaded into the boss plate.
