Patent number: 6808079Abstract: An electrical outlet box having a rear wall parametrically bound by an orthogonally extending sidewall terminating at a rim defining an opening in the outlet box. The sidewall includes a generally planar mounting surface adapted to be abutted against a structural support. The mounting surface includes an aperture centrally disposed between a pair of prongs, and the prongs being securable within the support structure for temporarily securing the outlet box thereto without the need for a fastener. The aperture is adapted to receive a fastener for operatively securing the outlet box to the support structure.Type: GrantFiled: November 27, 2002Date of Patent: October 26, 2004Assignee: Thomas & Betts International, Inc.Inventors: Daniel Lalancette, Tomasz Bedkowski, Michele Di Lillo

Patent number: 6802438Abstract: Pressurized Drinking Mug with a drinking mug capable of retaining a liquid. The mug has an attached hollow handle. The mug also has a removable, replaceable lid. The hollow handle contains a standard air pump mechanism that creates positive air pressure inside the mug. The lid has a liquid retaining reservoir that has a rigid straw portion extending down to the bottom of the mug and also extends upward to a removable replaceable flexible straw. The flexible straw is capable of being pinched closed or opened by a pinch valve so that when the pinch valve is opened, the liquid is forced up through the straw to the user's mouth. The rigid straw portion also contains a side port that can be restricted by a removable, replaceable plug. The port is also capable of retaining a push button valve that allows the pressurized liquid to be pumped into the reservoir.Type: GrantFiled: January 6, 2003Date of Patent: October 12, 2004Inventor: Garey Thompson

Patent number: 6749082Abstract: A holder and napkin assembly for a beverage or liquid food cup. The holder is defined by a sleeve mounted on and encircling a beverage cup or liquid food cup. The sleeve has an open top and an open bottom through which the cup extends and an inner surface adjacent the cup. The napkin includes a generally rectangular body portion and a smaller generally rectangular tab portion connected by a line of weakness. The tab portion is adhered to the holder, preferably on the inner surface of the holder. The line of weakness is positioned at the top edge of the holder sleeve. The napkin body and napkin tab are notched on opposite sides at the line of weakness. The inner surface of the holder has a plurality of discreet, spaced apart, hemispherical-shaped protrusions on the inner surface thereof.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2002Date of Patent: June 15, 2004Assignee: Nickel Drumworks USA, IncInventor: Gregory L. Patent number: 6488166Abstract: The present invention relates to an implosion prevention band for a CRT comprising an evacuated envelope having a mask and corresponding faceplate panel with sidewalls joined to a funnel. The faceplate panel and sidewalls form external corner surfaces and a peripheral inside blend radius. An implosion prevention band surrounds and closely hugs at least an edge of the external corner surfaces of the faceplate panel. The band extends along the exterior surface of the sidewall such that the width of the band is at or near the inside blend radius of the faceplate panel. The band is under tension to produce radially inwardly directed force components through the corners of the faceplate panel and primarily near the blend radius to produce a high degree of implosion protection for the CRT.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 2000Date of Patent: December 3, 2002Assignee: Thomson Licensing S.A.Inventors: Harry Robert Swank, Stephen Thomas Opresko

Patent number: 6425492Abstract: The invention relates to a liner for use with an associated closure of an associated container. The liner comprises a central portion that has a periphery. The periphery defines a central portion diameter. At lest six tabs extend from the periphery, and each tab has a tab height. Each of the at least six tabs is about 20° to about 40° in arcuate length, and the tab height is about 1 percent to about 3 percent of the central portion diameter. Each of the six tabs is equally spaced from one another.Type: GrantFiled: January 28, 2002Date of Patent: July 30, 2002Assignee: Phoenix Closures, Inc.Inventor: Len Ekkert
