Abstract: A wireless device may send uplink transmissions to a base station. The wireless device may use multiple spatial domain transmission filters for sending repetitions of data and/or control information in the uplink transmissions. The spatial domain transmission filters may be determined based on an indication from the base station and/or one or more spatial domain transmission filter(s) used for receiving control information from the base station.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to transmit sounding reference signals (SRSs) on a first carrier over multiple symbols within a slot, the first carrier being different from a second carrier on which the UE communicates with a base station during the slot. For example, the base station may transmit, to the UE, an SRS configuration for the UE to transmit the SRSs. In accordance with the control message, the UE may tune to the first carrier and may transmit the SRSs over the multiple symbols within the slot on the first carrier before tuning back to the second carrier. In some examples, the UE may transmit a capability message to the base station indicating that the UE supports transmitting SRSs over multiple symbols within a slot before tuning back to a different carrier.
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a communication technique for convergence between an IoT technology and a 5G communication system for supporting higher data transmission rate beyond a 4G system, and a system thereof. A user equipment (UE) may receive a message indicating, for each or multiple partial bands, a set of possible channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) configurations. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may monitor a unicast channel for a first downlink transmission from a base station using a first semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration. The UE may receive downlink control information (DCI) from the base station indicating a second SPS configuration associated with a different coverage level than the first SPS configuration. In some cases, the DCI may be DCI that is common to a set of UEs. Here, the DCI may indicate the second SPS configuration and the UE may identify a set of parameters associated with the second SPS configuration based on a radio resource control (RRC) message received prior to the DCI. Based on receiving the indication of the second SPS configuration, the UE may monitor the unicast channel for a second downlink transmission from the base station using the second SPS configuration.

Abstract: During operation, an electronic device receives a packet or a frame associated with a second electronic device, where the packet or the frame includes information specifying a factory reset command. For example, the second electronic device may be a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) server or may perform functions of a DHCP server. Moreover, the packet or the frame may include an acknowledgment (ACK) in a discover, offer, request and acknowledgment (DORA) procedure, and the information may be included in an option 43 subfield or an option 52 subfield in the packet or the frame. In response to receiving the factory reset command, the electronic device performs a factory reset. Note that the factory reset may restore firmware in the electronic device to a factory-fresh version and a configuration of the electronic device to a factory-fresh state, may erase memory in the electronic device.
Abstract: A method of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication network and a UE are provided. The method includes receiving, from the network, a downlink (DL) transmission, determining, by the UE, whether to cancel at least a portion of the DL transmission, and cancelling, by the UE, at least the portion of the DL transmission when the UE determines that the portion of the DL transmission is to be cancelled.
