Abstract: A dispenser has a barrel having: a bottom end; a top end; an inner wall; and an outer wall. A platform is upwardly moveable within the barrel inner wall from a first position to a second position. A screw member is coupled to the platform to shift the platform upward. A threaded first portion is engaged to the platform for relative rotation about a first axis and a second portion. A cap has a first condition mounted at the barrel top end and a removed condition. The barrel outer wall has an aperture and in the first condition the cap covers the aperture.

Abstract: A dispenser that includes a resilient applicator that optimizes application of a subject fluid to a desired surface. In one embodiment, the invention is a dispenser comprising a housing having an internal reservoir containing the fluid. The resilient applicator is coupled to the housing and comprises a dispensing orifice. The resilient applicator comprises a working surface that is oriented at an oblique angle to a longitudinal axis of the housing and is defined by a polygonal perimeter edge, the polygonal perimeter edge comprising a plurality of apex portions and a plurality of side portions, wherein one of the plurality of side portions forms a distal most-portion of the resilient applicator.

Abstract: Lip balm strip is a sheet of material that conveniently dispenses lip balm. A section of the lip balm strip is not covered in lip balm which provides a clean surface for the user to hold on to. The balm covered side of the strip is placed in the mouth. The user then presses their lips down and slides the strip through their lips to apply the lip balm. There is a smooth edge on this side of the strip provided to prevent injury to the mouth. The lip balm strip is individually wrapped to preserve the strip for re-use and is disposable. Other variations and features are described.

Abstract: A method of providing a visual indication of depletion of an oral care fluid. In one aspect, the method provides a visual indication of depletion of an oral care fluid contained within a reservoir of an oral care implement having a delivery member formed of a capillary material. The method includes: a) providing an indicator fluid in the reservoir with the oral care fluid, the oral care fluid being a different color than the indicator fluid and immiscible with respect to the indicator fluid; and b) upon depletion of the oral care fluid from the reservoir, delivering the indicator fluid to a visible portion of the deliver member.

Abstract: A feeding pencil includes a main body, a leading tube, a middle tube, and a ratchet mechanism. The middle tube is engaged to the leading tube to be relatively rotatable. A relative rotation between the leading tube and the main body in one direction moves a drawing material forward. The ratchet mechanism allows the relative rotation between the leading tube and the main body in the one direction, and regulates the relative rotation in another direction. The ratchet mechanism includes an elastic projecting part and a concave-convex part. The concave-convex part engages with the elastic projecting part to be movable in an axial direction and rotatable. A protrusion disposed at a center tube removably engages with an annular convex part disposed at an outer surface of the leading tube in the axial direction.

Abstract: A pen system comprising a cover member joined to an adapter having an anterior end of an ink cartridge disposed therein is disclosed. A pen housing covers the ink cartridge and is sealed via a plug. In one embodiment, a slit divides a surface of the adapter to allow a collapse of the adapter, thus narrowing a height of the adapter, to allow insertion of the adapter into the cover member. A first and second annular groove are disposed at a center of the adapter, where each annular groove interfaces with a cover member annular ridge to define an open and closed position of the pen. In an alternate embodiment, an annular washer having an annular ridge is disposed in the cover member, in place of the cover member annular ridge, to interface with the first and second annular groove thus defining the open and closed positions of the pen.

Abstract: A cleaning device comprises a base having a body and a handle attached to a top surface of the body. A plurality of bristles extends from a bottom surface of the body. The cleaning device further comprises a cover having a lower section defining a reservoir for containing a predefined volume of disinfectant and an upper section defining a space for enclosing the plurality of bristles of the body. The cover is adapted to selectively cover and uncover the plurality of bristles on the base.

Abstract: A roof inspection and repair device is disclosed that can be wheeled along a roof to identify loose shingles and dispense the sealant necessary to secure them in place. The roof inspection and repair device has both a blowing system and a sealant dispensing system. The blowing system may include an air tube having an air tube inlet that can be connected to a blower and an air tube outlet. The sealant dispensing system may include one or more sealant storage containers connected to a sealant dispenser by one or more sealant tubes. The roof inspection and repair device may further include a shingle lift mechanism.

Abstract: A liquid cosmetic container includes a housing portion and a leading tube. The leading tube has an inclination portion at a tip end side. The inclination portion inclines with respect to an axis center of the container main body. A front end forms a side close to the axis center of the container main body in the opening of the inclination portion. A front end forms a side far from the axis center of the container main body in the opening. The front end is positioned on a front side with respect to the front end with a vertical cross section as a reference. The front end on a side to which the intermediate core warps extends forward in the inclination portion. This reduces the warp of the applying portion, further improving the usability.

Abstract: Provided herein is a handheld cleaning device, which stores cleaning wipes as well as fluid. In an embodiment, the cleaning device comprises a hollow inner longitudinal portion, a hollow base, and a hollow outer longitudinal portion. All three hollow portions are joined together to form a single hollow fluid reservoir. In use, a cylindrical role of cleaning wipes may be slipped over the hollow inner longitudinal portion such that the hollow inner longitudinal portion is located inside the cylindrical roll of the cleaning wipes. The hollow outer longitudinal portion is located outside the cylindrical roll of the cleaning wipes and secures the cylindrical roll of cleaning wipes to the device. Further, the hollow base is located under the cylindrical roll of the cleaning wipes and further secures the cylindrical roll of cleaning wipes to the device.

Abstract: An applicator assembly includes a head portion having a proximal, a distal end, and an interior portion defining a fluid chamber, a container slidably coupled to the body, a sealing member sealing an end of the container, and a lifting member, wherein the lifting member is mounted in the interior portion of the head portion and an interior of the container is placed in fluid communication with the application member by way of a fluid conduit that is formed around the sealing member from the container to the fluid chamber when the container is axially translated toward the head portion and the lifting member lifts the sealing member.

Abstract: A pressure fluctuation buffering mechanism includes a buffer space connected to a brush via a paint flow space (a paint tank and a paint feeder) through which paint flows. The pressure fluctuation buffering mechanism buffers pressure fluctuations in the paint tank by the flow of paint and air between the paint flow space and the buffer space. The pressure fluctuation buffering mechanism includes a first buffer space forming member for forming a first buffer space in the buffer space, and a second buffer space forming member for forming a second buffer space in the buffer space. The paint between the first buffer space and the paint flow space flows more easily than the paint between the second buffer space and the paint flow space.
