Abstract: A graphical user interface is provided that can be used on a diagnostic tool. The graphical user interface allows a technician to operate various functions of the diagnostic tool including searching for additional information on the Internet, receiving weather information that is relevant to certain diagnostic tests, and displaying in certain formats the retrieved vehicle data and when certain vehicles were last scanned or diagnosed.

Abstract: Embodiments are described for handling focus when a gesture is input in a multi-screen device. In embodiments, a first image displayed on a first touch sensitive display of a first screen may be currently in focus. In embodiments, the gesture is a tap on a second touch sensitive display of the device. In response to the gesture, an application is launched, which displays a second image on a second display of a second screen. Focus is then changed from the first image on the first touch sensitive display to the second image on the second touch sensitive display.

Abstract: System and methods of searching conversations are provided. At a computing device having one or more processors and memory storing programs executed by the one or more processors, and responsive to a search query a conversation having two or more messages is identified. Further, there is formatted for display to a user (A) information representing the identified conversation, and (B) a sorted sender list displayed as a single-line item, associated with the identified conversation. The sorted sender list includes (i) a first sender identifier identifying a first sender of a first message in the two or more messages, and (ii) a second sender identifier identifying a second sender of a second message in the two or more messages. The first sender list identifier and the second identifier are sorted.

Abstract: Techniques are described for displaying avatars within a virtual environment in a way that avoids an appearance of offensive content. Embodiments of the invention receive a request specifying a first location within the virtual environment to move a first user-controlled virtual object to. A zone encompassing the specified location is then identified and a second location within the identified zone is determined. Embodiments then output the virtual environment for display in a manner that shows the first user-controlled virtual object positioned at the determined second location within the virtual environment.

Abstract: There is a demand for enhancement of operability when a change of combination of rollers of a chassis dynamometer and the dynamometer is set depending upon a vehicle type of a test vehicle. A status indicating function block that indicates an equipment construction is disposed in a main menu display area that is provided on a console. With this arrangement, a current test status can be recognized. Further, a vehicle type selection window calling function block is disposed in a mode setting function button group in the main menu display area. A vehicle type selection window called by the vehicle type selection window calling function block includes a roller selection section to select rollers corresponding to the test vehicle, a setting display section that indicates a current setting equipment construction, and a setting display section that indicates a setting equipment construction during change of the setting.

Abstract: Described are embodiments that are useful for generating procedures for entering data prior to separating liquid into liquid components. The embodiments are applicable to procedures for entering data prior to separating blood into components. Graphical elements are displayed that allow a user to appreciate the workflow of someone who implements the procedures. As a result, the user can create a procedure that is simple, efficient, and is less prone to errors.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for navigating over documents represented by identifiers displayed on a navigation menu. Each document is associated with a plurality of numerical values characterizing it according to a plurality of criteria. Each identifier of a document is placed at a position dependent on a part of the parameter values associated with this document. The whole set of the documents is subdivided into a given number of regions. The sums of the values associated with all the documents of a region and corresponding to a certain number of criteria are virtually equal for each region. The outer contour of the regions is displayed so as to enable its selection. The selection of a region triggers the display in full screen mode of all of the identifiers of the selected region. The invention also relates to a display device capable of executing the navigation method.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a user interface include collecting user activity data that includes navigation details provided from each of a plurality of user devices in navigating through a user interface. User interface use profiles are determined using the user activity data and include information on the likelihood of at least one subsequent navigation detail based on at least one present navigation detail. A new user navigation detail is received from a new user device accessing the user interface, and a first user interface use profile is retrieved based on a first present navigation detail in the first user interface use profile that corresponds to the new user navigation detail. A customized user interface is then created using a first subsequent navigation detail associated the first present navigation detail in the first user interface use profile, and that customized user interface is provided to the new user device.

Abstract: In a method for managing software menus using a computing device, a template file from a storage system is loaded. A name of an array, names of a plurality of software menus of the array, names of a plurality of buttons of the software menus and separators between the buttons, and parameters comprising an identifier (ID) and an image path of each of the buttons are obtained by parsing each line of instructions in the template file. A toolbar container for storing the obtained data having a predetermined memory frame is created. The software menus are established at a predetermined location in a preset window and the buttons of each of the software menus are added for each of the established software menus by reading data in the toolbar container. The window with the established software menus is displayed on a display screen.
