Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Helleborus plant named ‘ET EPB 1717’, characterized by its upright plant habit; moderately vigorous to vigorous growth habit; continuous and freely flowering habit; relatively large purplish red-colored flowers that are held above the foliar plane on relatively long peduncles; and good garden performance.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivars of grapevine, Vitis spp., which is an early to midseason ripening white wine grapevine that is resistant to Pierce's disease, exhibits low fruit ripening rot, and is able to produce premium white wines. The new and distinct cultivar produces a premium white wine with a pale yellow color and consistent yield. The cultivar has moderate-vigorous vine growth with moderate fruit yield. The cultivar produces wines with pale yellow color, smooth mouthfeel, and a harmonious blend of tropical fruit taste with a long and generous clear finish. The cultivar has inflorescences that develop generally from the 4th to 6th nodes of a shoot.

Abstract: A new and distinct variety of Echeveria plant named ‘OVPEARLS09’ which is characterized by a flattened profile with foliage that is loosely held in a basal rosette, narrowly obovate to broad spathulate foliage with a conspicuous globular growth on the abaxial surface, glaucous foliage that is covered with a layer of greyed-green epicuticular wax which gives the foliage a pale greyed-green appearance, juvenile foliage that is lightly suffused with greyed-purple along the distal portion of the margins and apex, and lightly undulated foliar margins. The new variety has shown to be uniform and stable in the resulting generations from asexual propagation.
Abstract: A novel variety of the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis (syn. H. lacustris), named ‘KAS1601-WG7’ is primarily characterized by a yellow and motile cell body during propagation transitioning to a red and motile cell body under pigment accumulation conditions. The cells contain negligible chlorophyll. It has fast growth under heterotrophic cultivation for ease of propagation and shows high carotenogenesis under dark heterotrophic cultivation. The highly pigmented non-encysted cells are attractive for ease of extraction and for high digestibility, including as whole cells, to release a mixture of oils, proteins, pigments, and other components desirable for use in food, feeds, cosmetics and dietary supplements, and excellent storage as biomass.
Abstract: A new and unique plant cultivar of perennial carnation or pinks, Dianthus plant named ‘Paint the Town Fancy’ with numerous, single, lightly-sweet fragrant flowers producing a full rounded face. Each flower has five overlapping petals that are rosy-fuchsia colored with darker red bar in the center. Petals have coarsely dentate apices. Flowering season is strong for four weeks beginning in late spring and continues less densely to mid-fall. The habit is compact and dense with glaucous blue-green foliage.

Abstract: A new and distinct variety of miniature rose plant, referred to by its cultivar name, ‘KORpot109’, is disclosed. The new variety forms abundantly on a substantially continuous basis attractive, pink colored blossoms. Attractive vigorous vegetative is formed, which contrasts beautifully with the blossoms. The growth habit is compact. The new variety is well suited for providing attractive ornamentation in the landscape.
