Abstract: An item of luggage includes an extendable and retractable handle mechanism having a handle axle to which a grip portion is mechanically connected. An elongate member of specific cross-section is mounted to be movable in translation relative to a fixed sheath and a locking/unlocking system. The locking/unlocking system includes a bushing and partly housed in the elongate member. In a first position of the grip portion, the locking/unlocking system is configured to compress the bushing such that it is tightly applied against an inside face of the sheath to keep the elongate member fixed in the sheath, thus locking the handle in a selected position. In a second position of the grip portion, the locking/unlocking system is configured to decompress the bushing to enable a free sliding of the elongate member in the sheath, thus unlocking the handle.

Abstract: Gear hooks may be attached to the exterior of a bag, such as a sports bag, to carry gear outside of the bag. In some embodiments, a gear hook may include a base portion, an attachment portion extending from the base portion, a neck portion extending transversely from the base portion, and an arm portion extending transversely from the neck portion. The arm portion may be spaced apart from the base portion to form a gap configured to receive one or more objects (gear) for carrying the one or more objects on the outside of the bag. The attachment portion may be stitched into or onto the bag. In some embodiments, the attachment portion may include a flange extending outwardly from the base portion and generally parallel to the base portion. In some embodiments, the attachment portion may include a spine extending transversely from the base portion.

Abstract: A smart device attachable card holder with hand tools includes a card holder case and a hand tool case. The card holder case has two or more independent card sockets, each positioning between a first attachable surface side and a second surface side thereof and having a drawing opening formed at one of four edge sides thereof, and two or more independent indention slots formed at the two or more drawing openings respectively. The hand tool case includes a mounting arrangement provided at a mounting surface side thereof and configured to be detachably attaching to the first attachable surface side of the card holder case, and at least one hand tool connected thereto.

Abstract: The invention relates to a tote-dolly system is configured to enable quick detachable attachment of the tote to the dolly. An exemplary tote has one or more tote-fasteners that can be quickly engaged with corresponding dolly-fasteners. An exemplary fastener may be a buckle having a clip and receiver that is quickly engaged. A preferred fastener is a hook-and-loop fastener configured on the top of the dolly and on the bottom of the tote. It may be preferred to have one of the tote-dolly components have discrete pieces of hook-and-loop fastener to facilitate detachment of the components.

Abstract: A carry bag is provided that has exterior surfaces. A cut-out panel is provided that is configured with a character with a theme that is shared by graphics used on the exterior surfaces of the carry bag. A mounting system is used to join the cut-out panel to the carry bag or to a pocket extension on the carry bag. The mounting system enables the cut-out panel to move through a range of motion relative to the carry bag while remaining attached to the carry bag. At least some of the cut-out panel covers at least some of the exterior surfaces of the carry bag at some positions within its range of motion. In this manner, at least some of the cut-out panel is visible on the exterior of the carry bag and the position of the cut-out panel can be selectively altered by the user.

Abstract: The present invention includes a golf bag cover with interior surfaces lined with a flexible container filled with air and microbeads. The flexible container includes a plurality of openings each configured to receive a golf club. The flexible container includes at least one valve to evacuate air from within the flexible container to compactify the microbeads around the golf clubs, thereby securing them. In one embodiment, a snake-like retainer is threaded between golf clubs within the golf bag cover and air is evacuated from the snake-like retainer so as to compactify microbeads within the snake-like retainer around the golf clubs in order to secure them.

Abstract: A stackable container foldable from a unitary blank providing a tongue-and-groove configuration of interlocking panels and tabs. The tongue-and-groove configuration is in part defined by four tabs that are folded and fixed along an interior of the stackable container, wherein the tab provides a tongue element and wherein a bottom panel of the stackable container provides a groove element for receiving a tongue element of a subjacent container, thereby enabling stacking of two or more stackable containers, one on top of another. In the stacked arrangement, the tongue-and-groove configuration embodied in the present invention prevents, in conjunction with the orientation of corrugated flutes, swaying and shifting of a stacked arrangement of two or more stackable containers.

Abstract: A novel convenient ejection-type card box comprises a card box body, wherein a push component is arranged inside the card box body, and the push component comprises a pressing member, one end of which is connected with the pushing member, and one side of the pushing member is connected with a connecting post; one end of the pressing member is provided with a movable groove adapted to the connecting post, and a torsion spring is connected between the pressing member and the card box body. A pressing member with a movable groove, a pushing member with a connecting post and a torsion spring are arranged in the card box body for cooperative use, and the pressing member is pressed inward into the card box body to eject the card from the card box body, so that the ejected cards are arranged in a stepped manner.

A collapsible golf bag can include a collapsible chassis having a top portion and a base with sidewalls therebetween. Additionally, the collapsible golf bag can include a foldable stiffening rod configured to engage a portion of the top portion of the chassis and the base of the chassis to separate the top portion and the base and extend the side walls to hold at least a portion of the sidewall taut. The golf bag kits can include a carrying container having an accessible interior, the collapsible chassis, and the foldable stiffening rod.

Abstract: A container comprises a first pocket to store at least one item and a second pocket having an outer sidewall that is an inner sidewall of the first pocket. The container also comprises a pocket cover stowable in the second pocket while not used for covering the at least one item stored in the first pocket, wherein the pocket cover is configured to be removed from the second pocket and to cover the first pocket and the at least one item stored in the first pocket.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an expandable and collapsible luggage item, such as a suitcase. The luggage item can be easily transitioned between two or three different sizes, allowing for use as an overnight or weekend bag, airplane carry-on, or large suitcase. As described herein, the design of the expandable and collapsible luggage item includes various shell panels that are slidably engaged and positioned adjacent each other to allow for the luggage item to collapse and expand.

Abstract: A luggage apparatus and method is described herein that introduce a separate wheeled sub-frame that mounts on the base of a luggage apparatus and which allows for dual mode use between an upright mode and a tilt mode. The geometry of the relationship between the bag frame and sub-frame of the luggage apparatus urges the bag to tilt and return upright. The luggage apparatus is securely supported about the sub-frame in both modes with a changing centre of gravity and can be pushed or pulled in either mode.

Abstract: A preferred embodiment provides a reconfigurable and removable cover securely fixed to an exterior of a hive structure. The preferred material of the cover provides both temperature and humidity control through use of various layers which allow proper air flow. Temperature control is provided by a novel combination of heat absorptive and heat reflective layers and surfaces. A reduction of heat loss in the hive structure reduces the amount of energy required to keep the hive at the desired temperature thereby preserving food resources and preventing colony collapse. The heat reflective layers cool the hive in the summer by reflecting solar radiation.
