Abstract: A heat exchanger and a method for additively manufacturing the heat exchanger are provided. The heat exchanger includes a plurality of fluid passageways that are formed by additive manufacturing methods which enable the formation of fluid passageways that are smaller in size, that have thinner walls, and that have complex and intricate heat exchanger features that were not possible using prior manufacturing methods. For example, the fluid passageways may be curvilinear and may include heat exchanging fins that are less than 0.01 inches thick and formed at a fin density of more than four heat exchanging fins per centimeter. In addition, the heat exchanging fins may be angled with respect to the walls of the fluid passageways and adjacent fins may be offset relative to each other.

Abstract: A heat exchanger 1 comprises a shell 2 which has in an interior thereof a heat exchange chamber 20 in which a gas to be cooled or an intermediate medium is filled, and performs heat exchange directly or indirectly between liquid hydrogen and the gas to be cooled, in the interior of the heat exchange chamber 20; a tray 23 which is provided in the interior of the heat exchange chamber 20 and receives a liquefied gas and a deposited substance F which are generated by the heat exchange in the interior of the heat exchange chamber 20; and a liquid discharge mechanism (flashboard 22, drain port 25, and drain pipe 26) which discharges the liquefied gas from the tray 23 in a state in which the deposited substance F is left in the tray 23.
Abstract: An airflow direction plate elongated in a direction perpendicular to a direction of an air flow from an indoor fan is disposed between the indoor fan and an air supply duct opening. The airflow direction plate has air vents arranged in a longitudinal direction, inclined plates each disposed to a corresponding one of the air vents and having different angles of inclination corresponding to positions of the air vents, and an acoustic material disposed on a surface facing the indoor fan. An indoor unit has a first air passageway allowing the air from the indoor fan to flow in the longitudinal direction of the airflow direction plate for a detour to the air supply duct opening and a second air passageway allowing the air from the indoor fan to flow into the air vents along the inclined plates.
Abstract: A condenser module configured for use in a condenser is provided including a housing having a first longitudinal side that defines a first air inlet and an opposing second longitudinal side that defines a second air inlet. A heat exchanger assembly is positioned within the housing. The heat exchanger assembly includes at least one heat exchanger coil. A cross-section of the heat exchanger assembly is generally constant between a front side of the housing and an opposite back side of the housing. At least one of the front surface and the back surface is configured to abut an adjacent contact module. A fan assembly includes at least one fan generally aligned with a single heat exchanger coil in the heat exchanger assembly.
Abstract: A heat exchanger for an aircraft engine that allows improvement in heat exchange ratio is provided. The heat exchanger (1) includes a plurality of heat dissipating fins (20, 30). The plurality of heat dissipating fins (20, 30) are arranged on at least one of a surface (2) and a surface (3). Each of the heat dissipating fins (20, 30) has a plate-like shape and has an inlet-side upper edge disposed on the side where a swirl flow (AF1) flows in and an outlet-side upper edge disposed on the side opposite the inlet-side upper edge and on the side where the swirl flow (AF1) flows out, and the inlet-side upper edge intersects the axis of rotation of a fan and extends along the direction in which the swirl flow (AF1) flows at the inlet-side upper edge.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a heat exchanger for a vehicle, in which a refrigerant is introduced into a first row heat exchanger and a second row heat exchanger and flows in opposite directions, thereby improving uniformity of temperature distribution.
