    Abstract: An electrical power and/or electronic data unit is mountable in a floor, and is fitted with an upper bezel that is openable and closable to provide selective access to one or more electrical power or data outlets. A bezel supports one or more shutters that are movable between open and closed positions. Optionally, the shutters are supported on an openable main door that provides additional access to the outlets when the main door is open. The main door can be closed and opened with the shutters in either the open or closed positions. Respective top surfaces of the shutters, the main door, and the bezel may be co-planar when the main door and shutters are closed, and the shutters may be hidden entirely beneath the main door when the main door is closed and the shutters are open.

    Abstract: A radio-frequency connector assembly includes a male connector and a female connector, which is plugged and matched with the male connector. The male connector includes a male substrate and a shielding case covering the male substrate. The female connector includes a female substrate and a shielding frame having the female substrate disposed therein. Multiple bumps which are distributed along an inner peripheral wall of the shielding case are disposed on at least one of the inner peripheral wall of the shielding case and an outer peripheral wall of the shielding frame, and a distance between every two adjacent bumps is less than or equal to one quarter wavelength of the operating frequency of the radio-frequency connector assembly. Signals in all directions can be shielded in the connector, effectively improving the shielding effect of the radio-frequency connector and the electrical properties of the radio frequency connector.

    Abstract: A hermetically-sealed edge-connect header that can withstand high temperatures, high pressures (or high vacuum levels), and high vibration environments, along with two corresponding connectors are disclosed. After brazing the edge-connect header components, the assembly is machined to form a slot with a portion of each of a plurality of electrical conductors removed in the machining process, resulting in a header with a high pin density. During the process of mating the first connector design to the edge-connect header, a plurality of wipers in the connector deflect, thereby causing the wipers to extend from the connector and contact the corresponding electrical conductors in the header. During the process of mating the second connector design to the edge-connect header, each of a plurality of wipers formed of low-mass, compliant metal wool, forms multiple contact points with a corresponding electrical conductor in the header.
