    Abstract: A system and method are disclosed including a tool clip having a receptacle, and a matching receptacle sleeve to attach to an elongated hand tool, such as a screwdriver. In various embodiments, the receptacle has springs to lock and retain the sleeve and hand tool in the tool clip. In a locked state, the screwdriver is restricted from axial and radial movements. In some embodiments, the sleeve has notches or cavities to receive a spring tip or tooth for locking the tool. The springs may be of different types, made of plastic or metal, and may be a single piece or multiple pieces. The tool clip may further include belt clips, loops, or hangers of various sorts to attach the tool clip to a toolbelt worn by a user.

Straps may pass around the cable in a recess to secure a pouch over a center of the tire. The cables may include widened portions that fit within widened portions of slots defined in the tensioning blocks. The mounting blocks and tensioning blocks may be identical but used differently. The mounting blocks may define openings for receiving straps securing items to the mounting blocks. Straps may be used in the place of cables and a pouch secured to the mounting blocks using other structures on the mounting blocks.

Various implementations may comprise a carabiner configured to rotate 180 degrees and configured with a lock and release mechanism designed to lock the carabiner in place during use and stow the carabiner in the buckle when not in use.

A center section of the legs, which is adjustable in length, extends between two pivotally attached mounting brackets. The center section can be formed by two telescoping tubes, at least one of which has a series of bolt holes along its length, with a bolt attached through one of those bolt holes and through the other tube, such that the user can select and set the length between the two mounting brackets. One of the mounting brackets is attached by bolts to a bottom of the bed-side side-mount truck bed toolbox. The other mounting bracket of each leg is attached by rivet nut threaded inserts to a side of the truck bed sidewall.
