  • Patent number: 10252051
Abstract: One form of the device is a standard handpiece having a series of interchangeable treatment heads. The handpiece can accept cooperating treatment heads for twist-locking therein or by other engagement arrangement. The treatment heads may or may not have an internal motor assembly within them to create vibratory motion in the assembled device. The groups of possible treatment heads include LED-light-emitting heads, microcurrent-emitting heads, a treatment head having an abrasive or pebbled surface, as well as a bristle brush head. In another version, the handpiece and treatment head are integrated and not exchangeable. In this second version, a combination LED-light-emitting outer ring surrounds a central dual-lobe massage surface. The dual-lobe massage surface may be made from an inert material such as silicone, or it may be metallic in order to provide emission of therapeutic microcurrents.

  • Patent number: 10065007
Abstract: In a method and breathing apparatus for providing support ventilation to a spontaneously breathing patient a pressure and/or a flow is monitored based on pressure and/or flow measurements, and efforts to inhale or exhale by the patient are detected based on changes in the monitored pressure and/or flow. When a change in the monitored pressure and/or flow indicating an effort to inhale or exhale is detected, the rate of that change is determined and used to calculate a suitable rate of change of pressure applied to the airways of the patient. By changing the applied pressure in accordance with the so determined suitable rate of change, the pressure rise time during inspiration and/or the pressure fall time during expiration can be adjusted to the needs of the patient to ensure efficient and comfortable ventilation.

Abstract: The invention relates to medicine, and more particularly to gravity therapy, and can be used in the comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation of patients having neurological, cardiological and therapeutic profiles with circulatory insufficiency. The technical result is achieved in that the patient is placed in a right lateral recumbent position on an inversion table with their legs bent at the knees and the thighs spread at 30-60 degrees. The patient is secured by the pelvis with the aid of a soft securing device. The parameters of a cycle of oscillatory movements to be performed by the inversion table as the head part of the table is lowered or raised, i.e. variable angles of rotation about the longitudinal and transverse axes of the table, the oscillation frequency of the table and the maximum angle of inclination of the head part of the table, are set using an operating console.
