Abstract: An intermodal container includes first and second ends, joined by first and second sides in a generally rectangular configuration. A generally continuous floor cooperates with the first and second ends and the first and second sides to form an open top container. A plurality of roof overhangs extend adjacent a top of the open top container, generally parallel to the floor. The intermodal container includes a roll cover having a first position in which the open top container is substantially open to the ambient environment to allow for loading from above the first and second sides and first and second ends of the open top container. The roll cover has a second position in which the open top container is substantially closed to the ambient environment to prevent any contents of the open top container to be ejected from the open top container during transport.

It is provided that a tethered closure device for a beverage container comprises the following components: A frame device and a cap element with an at least partially connected recloseable lid element, wherein the cap element is rotatable disposed to the frame device. The tethered closure device further comprises at least two temper evident elements, wherein the first temper evident element is disposed between the cap element and the frame device and the second temper evident element is disposed between the cap element and the lid element. Furthermore, a cap element and a beverage container is provided.

The pressure actuated pressure relief valve being configured to actuate from a closed position to an open position based on pressure reaching a threshold within the interior of the beverage vessel. The pressure actuated pressure relief valve being configured to actuate from the open position to the closed position based on pressure falling below the threshold within the interior of the beverage vessel.

A buckling-inducing section that is easily deformed angularly is formed on a plurality of sites in a circumferential portion of a panel section. A score line intersects with a virtual line passing through a center of the panel section and a center of the buckling-inducing section. End portions of the score line are situated closer to the center of the panel section than a virtual boundary line extending perpendicular to the virtual line. A circular depression is formed at the center of the panel section. A slant wall section is formed between the buckling-inducing section and an inner side wall, and the slant wall section is joined to the inner side wall through a curved portion.

Abstract: A child resistant pill container includes a base having individual compartments. A lid rotatably fits over the base and has a closed cover defining one open section. A releasable lock arrangement is between the base and the lid. The lid can be rotated relative to the base to position the open section in the lid over one of the individual compartments in the base.

Abstract: An apparatus, system and method for securing wheeled shipping carts within a shipping container. The apparatus, system and method for securing wheeled shipping carts within a shipping container secures the shipping racks across the width of the container and vertically, and then end-to-end inside the length of the container from the fixed end of the container to the doors as the container is loaded. In addition, the system and method secures wheeled shipping carts within a shipping container using a securing apparatus installed within the shipping container to constrain the wheeled shipping carts both vertically and horizontally in location during transport.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for liquid preservation according to various aspects of the present invention may comprise a vessel and a displacer. The displacer may be disposed in an interior volume defined by an interior surface of the vessel. The displacer may change the volume of the interior volume. An aperture at an apex of the displacer or vessel may allow air to escape from the interior volume as the displacer decreases the volume of the interior volume. An at least partially transparent displacement indicator may be positioned atop the aperture.

Abstract: A packaging method and packaging material are disclosed. In accordance with one aspect, a method for forming, filling, sealing and flash freezing a liquid extract or concentrate in a continuous ribbon format is described. The packaging material uses a continuous ribbon of a cold-formed foil base with multiple pockets arrayed in a pattern and a heat-sealed foil cover. Following sealing, the continuously formed strip of product is passed through a freezing medium, optionally perforated alongside the pockets to facilitate separation of individual pockets from a sheet, and then cut to size for convenient and space efficient final packaging, storage and transportation.

Abstract: In an example, a hybrid cargo container system for use with ground transportation vehicles and air transportation vehicles is disclosed. The cargo container system includes a chamfered container body comprising a plurality of sidewalls defining a storage chamber, the plurality of sidewalls comprising a first sidewall, a second sidewall, and a chamfer sidewall attached to the first and second sidewalls. The cargo container system also includes a corner support assembly operably coupled to the chamfered container body. The corner support assembly is operable between a stowed position and a deployed position. Based on the corner support assembly being in the deployed position, the corner support assembly is configured to at least partially support another container stacked thereon for ground transportation, and based on the corner support assembly being in the stowed position, the cargo container system is configured to be stored in a fuselage of an aircraft for air transportation.

Abstract: A tool for producing a plastic container in a thermoform process, in particular a plastic deep drawing process, with a positive mold, is described. The container may have a bottom section for forming a container bottom. The container may also have a lateral wall section for forming a circumferential, lateral wall integrally formed with the container bottom from the same material. The container may also have a wall for forming a stacking edge formed as a hollow profile, circumferentially protruding beyond an external contour of the lateral wall of the container. In a molding position for forming the container, the wall is arranged circumferentially protruding around an entire external side of the positive mold. The wall is movable out of the molding position into a demolding position. A method for producing the container by the tool is also provided.
