  • Patent number: 7519172
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for implementing feature interactions between an AIN-based service and a switch-based call-forwarding service. In the present invention, the switch-based call-forwarding generates an Off-Hook Delay (OHD) trigger. In response, the SSP suspends call processing and sends the forward-to number to the SCP. Based upon the SCP's determination of whether the forward-to number is for voicemail and other criteria such as time of day, day of the week, etc, the SCP determines whether the switch-based call-forward should be permitted or inhibited.

  • Patent number: 7499533
Abstract: A method and system for providing a caller-controlled demarcation service is described. An embodiment of the present invention is advantageously implemented as an advanced service in an intelligent telecommunications network. An embodiment of the present invention allows the user to specify an interval for a telephone communication. A telecommunication switch times the communication and when the interval expires, the switch either plays a tone to signal the expiration or disconnects the call. The switch may enforce the interval for calls originating or terminating at the subscriber's phone.

  • Patent number: 7486785
Abstract: A method for handling a customer call in a customer relationship management system can include, responsive to receiving a telephone call from a caller, receiving caller biometric information via the telephone call which uniquely identifies the caller. The caller biometric information can be compared with biometric information profiles to determine an identity of the caller. The telephone call can be transferred to a telephone number according to the identity of the caller.

  • Patent number: 7454004
Abstract: A method for processing a transaction. The method includes receiving validation requests, automatically initiating one or more callbacks to an authorized transactor, and validating one or responses from the authorized transactor. The automatic initiation is in response to the validation requests, and according to pre-selected authorized transactor information. The responses from the authorized transactor are in reply to the callbacks.

  • Patent number: 7079860
Abstract: A first low noise amplifier (LNA1 111) is provided with a control terminal (1115) for turning of/off the low noise amplifier (LNA1 111). Power terminals of the low noise amplifier (LNA1 111) and a second low noise amplifier (LNA2 112) are commonly connected, and are connected to a power supply (10) via a power supply switch (1114). Ground terminals of the two amplifiers (LNA1 111) and (LNA2 112) are commonly connected, and a constant current source (1 115) is connected between the common terminal and the ground. The amplifiers (LNA1 111) and (LNA2 112) are turned on/off by switching the voltage applied to the control terminal (1115) of the first low noise amplifier (LNA1 111) between a high potential and a low potential. The power supply switch (1114) is turned off during signal transmission. Therefore, an LNA block can be provided by using only one power supply switch (1114), whereby it is possible to reduce the number of devices from that in the prior art, thereby realizing a reduction in the size thereof.
