Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Sansevieria plant named ‘HANSOTI44’ is disclosed, characterized by unusual twisted, curled, compact foliage arranged in flattened, spiral rosettes. The new cultivar is a compact “Birds Next” type Sansevieria forming small plants, reaching only about 12 cm in height at maturity. Plants require little water, having a moderate tolerance for drought, and are also tolerant of very wet conditions. Foliage is bright yellowish-cream, with a dark olive-green border with streaks of greyish-green. The new variety is a Sansevieria, typically produced as an indoor ornamental plant.
