Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for electronic stimulus evaluation through one or more signals. The one or more signals protect underlying raw data relating to behavior, including purchase behavior and location-based behavior. A server platform in network communication with at least one signal buyer computer and at least one signal provider computer facilitates creation of the one or more signals. Anonymized identifiers are used to identify objects or consumers associated with behavior data and exposure to the electronic stimulus. The server platform provides optimization analytics for the stimulus based on the one or more signals, which include measurement signals, behavior signals, and lift signals.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and method for determining advertising conversion metrics. In some implementations, a method includes receiving spatial information associated with a user in connection with an advertisement presented through a wireless device 102. The advertisement is associated with an offline 110 store having a geographic location. A likelihood of conversion is determined based, at least in part, on the spatial information and the geographic location of the offline store 110.

A market graphic may be generated based on a node corresponding to the identifier and a set of edges corresponding to the node. The market graphic may be output in a computer-readable format.

The privacy-preserving biospecimen test kit kiosk and locker helps customers to buy DNA/RNA/microbiome/COVID-19 test kits in public places without revealing their identities by pairing with a private digital wallet (smartphone) to allow access and control of their data. The kiosk has a camera for scanning test kit information and capturing palm print images, GPS, environment sensors, a scale, a height meter, and other sensors and provenance gathering devices. The privacy-preserving biospecimen test kit kiosk and locker also serves as a locker to store the DNA/RNA/microbiome/COVID-19 kits. By using the privacy-preserving biospecimen test kit kiosk and locker, users can buy a DNA/RNA/microbiome/COVID-19 test kit, gather information about their bodies and control access to the data by way of their personal and private digital wallets.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for enhancing a blind URL escrow with real-time bidding exchanges are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving, using a hardware processor, a URL associated with an advertisement placement from a seller; generating a rating for the URL received from the seller; determining metadata based on the URL and a domain name associated with the seller; generating an anonymous label corresponding to the URL that includes the generated rating and the determined metadata; transmitting the anonymous label to a real-time bidding exchange; and causing a verification beacon to be inserted into an advertisement to be displayed in the advertisement placement in response to a buyer purchasing an opportunity to place an advertisement in the advertisement placement using the anonymous label through the real-time bidding exchange.

Abstract: A method for using idle computing power of an electric vehicle includes sending the computing tasks and the task rates for performing the computing tasks to a vehicle controller of the electric vehicle and receiving an acceptance signal from the vehicle controller. The acceptance signal is indicative that the vehicle controller accepted to perform the computing tasks. The method further includes commanding a charging infrastructure to supply electrical power the electric vehicle while the vehicle controller performs the computing tasks.

Abstract: The embodiments set forth techniques for delivering relevant news articles to users. The techniques can involve auditioning different categories of news articles (e.g., entertainment, sports, technology, etc.) to a user to create a pleasant onboarding experience that requires minimal user input. As time progresses, affinity information for the user is gathered from various sources (e.g., news readers, web browsers, third-party applications, etc.). The affinity information can be used to (1) suggest additional categories in which the user might be interested, and (2) increase the accuracy by which subsequent news articles are delivered to the user. Additionally, feedback information about the user's interaction with the subsequent news articles can then be obtained, and various metrics associated with these news articles can be updated to reflect the user's interaction. In turn, the various updated metrics can enable these news articles to be delivered to other users in a more accurate manner.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed to implement an item metric prediction system that predicts a metric for an item using a feature-based model built using other similar items. In embodiments, the system is used to predict item influence values (IIVs) of items indicating an expected amount of subsequent transactions that is caused by an initial transaction of the items. In embodiments, a sample of item transaction data is distributed to a plurality of task nodes, which execute in parallel to determine the items' observed IIVs from the transaction data. Subsequently, a new IIV is determined for an item whose observed IIV has a low confidence level. A set of similar items is selected, and a set of parameters of a feature-based model are tuned to fit the model to the observed IIVs of the similar items. A new IIV having a high confidence level is then obtained using the model.

Abstract: A campaign server disclosed herein includes a graphic user interface (GUI) and underlying campaign server functionality that together enable a user to build, execute and analyze the results of a campaign with increased ease and accuracy. The campaign server advantageously includes a segmentation engine which operates to dynamically update target segment population data. The campaign server GUI enables the user to construct the campaign content and to launch the campaign towards members of the dynamically updated target segment. The campaign server further operates to collect and present campaign results to the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for controlling an online advertising campaign. In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method for controlling an online advertising campaign includes receiving a feedback signal reflecting delivery of the online advertising campaign, and comparing the feedback signal to a delivery reference to generate a campaign level control signal. The method further includes receiving a maximum impression bid price for an inventory unit of the online advertising campaign, the maximum bid price for the at least one inventory unit being set by a user, and calculating, using at least one processor, at least a final bid price based on the maximum bid price, on the campaign level control signal, and on an optimization objective for the online advertising campaign, the optimization objective being set by the user. The method also includes submitting, to an electronic market and based on the calculated final bid price, a bid on an impression from the inventory unit.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable medium are described for operating servers and mobile devices. A mobile device may send a template request including a geographic location to a server device. Based on the received geographic location, the server device may match the template request with a template tagged with a usage location matching the received geographic location. The server device may provide the mobile device with the template wherein the mobile device may combine the template with an image captured at the geographic location. The mobile device may provide the server device with the modified image for distribution to other mobile devices.

Abstract: Head mounted display systems configured to facilitate the exchange of biometric information between the head mounted display system and another computing device are disclosed. The head mounted display system can comprise a virtual or augmented reality device. After displaying a consent request regarding biometric information with the head mounted display system, a response to the consent request that includes a consent indication regarding an aspect of the biometric information can be determined. After obtaining biometric information from a wearer utilizing e.g., a camera of the head mounted display, and processing the biometric information, a biometric information processing result can be generated. The result can be communicated from the head mounted display system to another computing device.

Abstract: According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a method is provided for advertising on a content-screened web page. The method includes receiving an impression request for a URL for which an advertising impression is desired; screening HTML content of a web page identified by the URL; generating a rating for the URL based on the HTML content of the web page; assigning the rating to the impression request; and serving an advertising impression on the web page based on the rating.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a method for information processing includes: acquiring, based on announcement information pulled by a terminal from a ranked list of announcement information in advance, interactive operation indication information uploaded by the terminal on an interactive platform, the interactive operation indication information being associated with the announcement information; acquiring interactive operational data corresponding to the interactive operation indication information; and updating ranking information of the announcement information in the ranked list of announcement information based on the interactive operational data. The announcement information is passively pulled from the ranked list of announcement information based on the ranking information, and the ranking information includes at least one of a pulling probability and a ranking position.
