The roller is moved, upon an excess downward pulling force, to a releasing position, where the rear coupling member is moved forwardly to release connection with the roller so as to permit removal of the roller from the housing.

    Abstract: A light shielding structure for a vertical blind is disclosed, wherein the vertical blind includes a headrail and a plurality of slats, which are hanged under the headrail in a vertical manner, and can be controlled to be turned between a shielding position and a non-shielding position. The vertical blind includes at least one light shielding member, which is engaged to a bottom of the headrail, and can either be flipped up or naturally droop along with the turning of the slats. When the at least one light shielding member droops, gaps formed between the bottom of the headrail and a top of the slats are covered, which prevents light from leaking in therethrough.

The receipt of the said axle member within the throat hangs the first end of the roller tube from the first end bracket while permitting the roller tube to pivot about the first end bracket in a generally vertical plane.

Whereby, only one single control module is required to adjust the inclination angle of the slats and to collect and expand the covering material.

    Abstract: We disclose a window blind which purifies the surrounding air using electrostatic interactions. The window blind includes slats which may have a strip of positively charged material, a strip of negatively charged material, or both attached to the top of the slat. In some embodiments, the positively charged material and the negatively charged material are attached to alternating slats. In other embodiments, the positively charged material and the negatively charged material are attached to the top of the same slate with a strip of insulating material positioned between them. The window blind may include an air-moving device which moves air past the slats so that dust particles with either a net positive charge or net negative charge may be attracted to the oppositely charged material on the slat. The air-moving device may be a vacuum or a fan. The positively and negatively charged materials may be removeable for cleaning.
