  • Patent number: 11497977
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to an adjustable-incline climbing wall. The climbing wall includes one or more climbing panels supported by a frame and a system for adjusting the incline of the frame to provide a climbing wall of a desired incline. The incline of the climbing wall may be adjusted by activating an actuator, which extends the frame a distance from a support wall, tilting the climbing wall to a desired incline. Further, by providing a plurality of attachment points between the actuator and the frame (and/or between the actuator and a support), the adjustable-incline climbing wall may be provided with a wider range of incline angles, as well as increased control over those angles.

  • Patent number: 11491361
Abstract: An adjustable weight kettlebell includes a body defining an internal cavity configured to receive one or more of a plurality of weights, and a weight selector assembly configured to selectively couple one or more of the plurality of weights to the body. The weight selector assembly may include an actuator to enable a user to select one of a plurality of available weight settings. The weight selector assembly may be locked for adjustment when the kettlebell is removed from a support surface such as a base, thereby inhibiting inadvertent detachment of the weights from the kettlebell during exercise. The weight selector assembly may automatically shift to the closest weight settings upon release of the actuator and may automatically unlock upon placement of the kettlebell on the support surface such as the base, the bottom weight if not coupled to the kettlebell, or any other suitable support surface.

  • Patent number: 11465008
Abstract: Improved designs for exercise machines that facilitate muscle development and other therapeutics are disclosed. The machine includes a frame, a pulley assembly, and cable extending through the pulley assembly. The cable has attachments, including an attachment for connecting to a pull handle. The cable is also connected to a selectively variable moveable resistance unit. This unit is structured to provide an elastic resistance when a pulling force is applied to the pull handle. The unit is connected to the cable and includes an elastomeric body that provides the elastic resistance and also includes an arc plate that provides a curved support member on which a portion of the elastomeric body at least partially wraps around. Movement of the arc plate causes the elastomeric body to stretch and to provide the elastic resistance.

  • Patent number: 11420088
Abstract: An exercise system for exercising a body's oblique muscle group relies upon a wheel mechanism having an outer wheel portion arranged at a first radial distance and an inner wheel portion arranged at a second radial distance, where the outer and inner wheel parts include respective sets of handgrips. A weight system is arranged to be coupled to and decoupled from the wheel mechanism. A coupling mechanism couples the weight system to and decouples the weight system from the wheel mechanism, in a first circumferential direction, or in a second circumferential direction. The hand grips allow a user to grasp the wheel mechanism and turn it in the first or the second circumferential directions against a respective force that the wheel mechanism is turned against that is defined by the aggregate selected weight when coupled to the wheel mechanism, in one of the first and second circumferential directions.
