    Abstract: A vascular graft comprises a perforate tubular compressible frame having a fabric liner disposed over at least a portion of the frames lumen. The graft may be used in combination with a base structure to form a bifurcated graft in situ. The base structure compresses a compressible frame having a fabric liner which defines a pair of divergent legs. The base structure is positioned within the aorta so that one leg enters each iliac. The tubular grafts can then be introduced into each leg to form the bifurcated structure. A graft delivery catheter includes a controllably flared sheath which facilitates recapture of a partially deployed graft.

When discarding a used puncture needle, the puncture needle is inserted into a lancet guide member of the puncture needle cartridge, whereby the puncture needle is reliably captured to be discarded.

The cutter and cannula are moved about the carrier and are pressed into the tissue of the patient with the expectation that the circular core (60) of breast tissue formed by the cutter will have clear margins about the tumor. If the tumor extends too close to the circular incision, the cannula may be rotated so that its sidewall opening (26) faces the side of the remaining tissue to be excised and the surgeon can pull the remaining tissue through the sidewall and excise it, thereby avoiding a separate and delayed surgical procedure.
