Abstract: Technologies for resource management include a mobile computing device configured to communicate with a resource database server. The mobile computing device determines a future context and sends a request to the server for resource information associated with a location defined by the future context. The server determines resources located at the location and sends the requested resource information to the mobile computing device. The mobile computing device automatically configures itself to use the resources. The mobile computing device may automatically download and configure device drivers for the resources. The resources may include printers, displays, and network connections. The resource information may be provided by third-party resource providers. Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for automating enforcement of a license for an electronic mail (email) message recovery plug-in. A first email message recovery plug-in associated with a first information handling system generates a first email message to request a recovery of a second email message. A first license identifier, which is associated with the first email message recovery plug-in, is then attached to the first email message, which in turn is sent to a second information handling system comprising a second email message recovery plug-in. In response, a third email message is received from the second information handling system, comprising the second email and a second license identifier associated with the second email message recovery plug-in. The first and second license identifiers are compared to see if they are the same. If they are, then license remediation operations are performed.

Abstract: Techniques for communicating notifications to subscribers are described. An apparatus may comprise a channel component and a notification component. The channel component may be operative to receive an event from a social networking service to communicate to a subscriber of the social networking service and to determine one or more channels of a plurality of channels by which to communicate the event to the subscriber according to rankings associated with each channel, the rankings specific to the subscriber and determined according to subscriber history. The notification component may be operative to construct a notification based on the event and to transmit the notification to the subscriber using the determined one or more channels. Abstract: A communication system includes a redirect server and a deployment server configured to configure different terminal devices so that those devices are able to access a network of a service provider. A terminal device, computer readable medium and method are also disclosed that helps deploy such a service. In one embodiment, a communication system is configured so that a user of a terminal is provided with a code. The code is then communicated to a redirect server via a terminal associated with the user. The redirect server utilizes the code to determine the address of a deployment sever. The redirect server then provides the address to the terminal so the terminal can connect to a configuration management system so that the terminal may communicate with that system to be configured for accessing the network services hosted by the system.

Abstract: A collaboration environment provides a generic event distributing framework that can distribute both synchronous and asynchronous events. The distributed events may be pre-defined or dynamically defined. Further, the framework can support multiple data formats for the event payload. The collaboration environment relies on two separate APIs to separate event producers from event consumers.

Abstract: In general, techniques are described for dynamically modifying the extent of logging performed by logging information generators in response to events detected in logging information received by the collector. In some examples, a network device includes one or more processors and a collector executed by the processors to receive a log message that includes logging information from a generator. The network device also includes a rules engine to apply one or more rules that each specify a condition and a corresponding action to the logging information to identify a matching rule, wherein the rules engine, upon identifying a matching rule, executes the action of the matching rule to generate and send a logging modification message to increase an extent to which the generator generates logging information.
