Abstract: An alternate action mechanism in which a rocker makes rolling contact with a surface on a frame, and a plunger is positioned to exert a force toward the surface at a location on the rocker separated from the rolling contact, the force at least initially being along an axis which intersects the surface between limiting positions of the rolling contact. Specially configured leaf springs bias the rocker toward positions corresponding with the limiting positions of the rolling contact.
Abstract: A head construction for a pontoon boat comprising a housing having an open top and an open front and a toilet is mounted within the housing. A lid is hinged to the rear edge of the housing and is movable between a horizontal, closed position and an open position where the lid extends vertically. A foldable frame is secured to the housing and can be moved between a folded retracted position, where the frame is located within the housing, to an extended position where the frame extends vertically a substantial distance above the housing. A flexible curtain interconnects the undersurface of the lid and the frame and the lower end portion of the curtain is disposed within the open front end of the housing. When the lid is moved to the open position, the frame can be pivoted from the retracted to the extended position where the curtain provides an enclosure.
Abstract: A device for carrying elongated articles too long to fit inside a vehicle. The device is unitarily formed from tubing and shaped into two parallel S-shaped members bridged by an intermediate member which provides lateral stability. Padding extends substantially the length of one of the loops of each S-shaped member. The device is primarily designed for the padded loops to be hooked over the sides of a vehicle while the oppositely facing loops are used to support the elongated articles in cooperation with another similar device located farther down the same side of the vehicle.
