Abstract: A vending machine with a reduced vertical height and footprint has a horizontal roller surface system for delivering vending products. The horizontal roller system includes actuated rollers and trays that move on top of the rollers. The products are present on top of the trays; the rollers actuate to deliver the trays, and the products, to a delivery portal. Some embodiments of the vending machine have a transparent top to allow the interior of the vending machine, and particularly the roller surface, to be visible from the exterior of the vending machine. The reduced height and size of the vending machine enables it to be placed in locations that are unavailable to conventional vending machines.

Abstract: A combination toilet wipes package that also freshens the air of a bathroom. Some embodiments are suitable as a toilet wipes dispenser refill package. Some embodiments are suitable as a stand-alone toilet wipes dispenser package. The combination toilet wipes package includes a toilet wipes package having an opening on top for extracting moist toilet wipes contained therein, and an attached air freshener cartridge having a hole for allowing air freshener to diffuse out into the room. As a toilet wipes dispenser refill package, the combination toilet wipes package includes an air freshener cartridge having an air baffle ring configured to engage air baffle slots of a wipes dispenser. Some embodiments include a peel-away seal applied over both the opening of the toilet wipes package and the hole of the air freshener cartridge such that removing the seal opens both the package of moist toilet wipes and the air freshener cartridge.

Abstract: Dispenser for dispensing sheet products stacked in a stacking direction comprising a housing having first opposite side walls and second opposite side walls defining an interior space configured to accommodate the stack of the sheet products, the housing defining a dispensing opening at a front end of the first and second opposite side walls, and an engagement surface arranged at a front end portion of each of the first opposite side walls closer to one of the second opposite side walls than to the other of the second opposite side walls, wherein the engagement surfaces are engageable with respective opposite edges of the sheet products and extend in the stacking direction.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, a lockable canister for retaining and selectively dispensing medications is disclosed. To prevent drug diversion, a plurality of doses of medication may be loaded into the locking canister at a central pharmacy and then the canister may be locked to prevent unauthorized removal of medication in transit to a remote automated dispensing unit that may be located in a remote pharmacy. The lockable canister may include a canister housing and a canister cover that may be locked to the canister housing to enclose the plurality of doses of medication. The canister cover may include tamper evident or tamper resistant features. The canister may include one or more locking mechanisms to prevent unauthorized access to the medication in the canister in transit or before it is specifically authorized for dispensing.

Abstract: A sheet product dispenser for dispensing a strip of a sheet product from a static center-feed coreless roll of sheet product is disclosed. The roll includes a central cavity. The dispenser includes a container for accommodating the roll, and a dispensing piece which protrudes toward an interior of the container from one end of the container and which includes a guidance between a receiving opening for receiving the strip of sheet product from the roll and a dispensing opening for dispensing the strip of sheet product outside of the dispenser. The dispensing piece is arranged to engage into the central cavity of the roll. The dispensers provide a dispensing opening so that withdrawal of a sheet product is facilitated by avoiding collapsing or clogging. Furthermore, the dispenser has a compact configuration that gains space during delivery and transportation.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for separating medication packages from a strip of medication packages. The device comprises a cutting base along which the strip of medication packages is to be moved, a circular cutting blade arranged perpendicularly against the cutting base, and an actuator connected to the circular cutting blade and configured to move the circular cutting blade in opposite first and second directions for cutting the strip between two successive medication packages. In the device the actuator is connected to the circular cutting blade with a spring suspension allowing the circular cutting blade to move in opposite third and fourth directions perpendicular to the cutting base.

Abstract: A tubeless smoothie vending machine including a tubeless electro-mechanically actuated dispensing nozzle attached to each smoothie dispensing tank, a cup retrieval system to retrieve an empty cup and move the cup to each selected dispensing nozzle, a portal in the cup retrieval system to transfer the cup through the cup retrieval system, a receiving shelf to receive the filled cup, a dispenser system to drop dry food product into the beverage filled cup, and an access door to open when the beverage filled cup is ready to vend to the customer. Tubes for delivering beverage to the cup are eliminated. A consolidated smoothie vending machine having a plurality of integrated smoothie blenders, a dry food supplement delivery assembly, a straw delivery assembly, and a lid delivery assembly. In one example, the smoothie blenders are stacked. In one example, the smoothie blenders are attached to sliding shelving.

Abstract: Devices, assemblies, and methods for arranging and dispensing medication are shown and described. In one embodiment, a medication dispensing assembly includes a first single dose tray having a plurality of dosage complexes and a first label face, and at least a second single dose tray having a plurality of dosage complexes and a second label face. Each dosage complex has a unitary blister pocket adjacent to an L-shaped opening. In other embodiments, a single dose medication tray includes a label platform and a plurality of dosage complex groupings. The result is devices and methods to orient and dispense individually packaged medications.

Abstract: A dispenser assembly and method of providing a web material dispenser assembly that is configured to dispense towel and wipe web materials, whether continuous or interwoven, in a pull-through manner from a core of a roll of material. The dispenser assembly includes a housing having a base and a moveable cover. A roll guide is disposed in the housing and defines a portion of the dispense passage associated with extraction of material from the dispenser assembly. A restrictor plate is supported by the roll guide and is rotatable and axially translatable relative thereto. The restrictor plate defines a number of dispense openings that can be selectively aligned with the portion of the dispense passage defined by the roll guide such that the characteristics associated with the pull-through dispense activity of the dispenser assembly can be quickly and conveniently configured to achieve a desired dispense action.

Abstract: An ADA compliant vending machine that raises vended product to a desired height, and specifically to a new and improved vended product delivery mechanism that moves between lowered and raised positions within a delivery bin within a vending machine, in a coordinated manner with the opening and closing of a delivery door, that raises the vended product for delivery to a customer at the desired height, and where front and rear delivery bin walls can be shaped to interlock with conforming shaped front and rear edges of the delivery mechanism to prevent vended product from becoming wedged or stuck there between.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, a remote automated dispensing unit (ADU) may include an enclosed cabinet, one or more locking mechanisms to keep the cabinet secure, one or more doors on the cabinet to allow access to the internal components, and a computer system that manages the dispensing of inventory. The ADU may include a mechanism for the dispensing of medications for individual patients including: one or more canisters for storing medications, one or more canister base stations for securing the one or more canisters to the ADU, and a chute and funnel system for the guidance of medications as they fall from the canisters into a packaging station for packaging medications into packages for particular patients. One or more sensors may be used to detect misdispensing of medications, and a combination of sensors and operating sequences may be used to reduce the amount of misdispensed medication.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for securely dispensing one or more prescribed substances at a given time and/or date are disclosed herein. In certain embodiments, a pill dispensing device may include a generally tamper-proof portable housing. A replaceable cartridge may be configured to be removably disposed within the portable housing. The replaceable cartridge also may be generally tamper-proof. The portable housing and/or the replaceable cartridge may be operable to dispense a predefined amount of a prescribed substance at a given time and/or date.

Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing at least one perforated web from a storage of web material, the dispenser including: a housing arranged to hold a storage of perforated web material, wherein a web path extends along a feeding direction in an interior of the housing from a storage position to a dispensing opening of the dispenser, and a separation arrangement being arranged along said web path, for separating the at least one perforated web along the perforations thereof, said separation arrangement including a first unit and a second unit, the second unit being arranged downstream said first unit, as seen in the feeding direction of the web path. The first unit is arranged to provide a tensioning force on said web, and the second unit being arranged to stretch the web material along the length of the web and along the width of the web.

Abstract: An apparatus for retaining and dispensing feminine products, the apparatus including a rack configured to hold a feminine product; a pushbutton that, when activated, is configured to move a push rod in a first direction, the push rod having teeth configured to engage a pinion gear as the push rod is moved along the first direction; a push member associated with the pinion gear, the push member being configured to engage the feminine product and thereby cause the product to dispense onto a release tray as the push rod is moved along the first direction; and a plunger associated with the pinion gear, the plunger being configured to contact a timing plate in response to the pinion gear rotating. The plunger is adapted to temporarily affix to the timing plate by a suction force for a period of time sufficient for the pushbutton to reset before a second feminine product can be dispensed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a dispenser for use with a pill container. The dispenser comprises a base, a reciprocating element, a revolving distributor and a cam assembly, whereby the cam assembly translates a reciprocation of the reciprocating element into a rotation of the revolving distributor and allow dispensing a single pill at each reciprocation cycle. The dispenser of the present invention allows patients to be provided with medications by an easy-to-use means for dispensing of a single dosage by a simple press of a hand.

Abstract: A bathroom wipe dispenser dispenses both toilet paper and wet wipes. The dispenser has a tube that receives an ordinary toilet paper spindle and, consequently, the dispenser may be hung from a majority of the toilet paper dispensers in residential use today. The tube also fits within an ordinary roll of toilet paper. An arm hangs down from one side of the tube. The arm supports a wet wipe dispenser hanging beneath the arm. The wet wipe dispenser carries a package of wet wipes and has a bottom opening that provides access as wet wipes are dispensed from the package.
