  • Patent number: 10981554
Abstract: A system for delivering fluid in a machine is provided. The system includes a pump, a first valve disposed downstream of the pump, a check valve disposed downstream of the first valve, at least one accumulator disposed downstream of the check valve, and an auxiliary system disposed upstream of the check valve. The system further includes a control unit configured to receive a signal indicative of a fluid demand from the auxiliary system. The control unit is also configured to selectively control the first valve in a first position to limit flow of the fluid from the pump to the auxiliary system, and in a second position to allow flow of the fluid from the pump to the auxiliary system based, at least in part, on the received signal. The check valve limits flow of a fluid from the at least one accumulator to the auxiliary system.

  • Patent number: 10954975
Abstract: A system and method of collecting and disposing of fluid during a medical procedure. Fluid is drawn from a fluid source into a first reservoir in communication with a vacuum source. The fluid passes through an open fluid transfer valve into a second reservoir in communication with the vacuum source. While the fluid continues to be drawn into the first reservoir, the fluid transfer valve is closed after a predetermined volume of the fluid passes into the second reservoir. The fluid collected in the second reservoir is measured and evacuated from the second reservoir. The fluid transfer valve is opened and the steps are repeated until the medical procedure is completed while the first reservoir remains in uninterrupted communication with the vacuum source during the medical procedure such that fluid is capable of continuing to be drawn into the first reservoir without interruption.

  • Patent number: 10935056
Abstract: An electromagnetic valve for a hydraulic system for an automatic transmission of a vehicle. An armature chamber is filled with hydraulic medium and fluidically connected to hydraulic lines of the hydraulic system. An armature is mounted in the armature chamber such that its stroke is adjustable. The armature includes a shut-off body and divides the armature chamber into an opening-side chamber facing the flow opening and into an inner chamber facing away from the flow opening. During a stroke of the armature, an oil exchange occurs, and a displacement volume of the hydraulic medium overflows from the opening-side chamber into the inner chamber. A hydraulic line leading to the opening-side chamber or to the inner chamber of the armature chamber includes a dirt collecting element that is designed as a permanent magnet and that retains contaminations in the hydraulic medium that flows through the hydraulic line during an oil exchange.

  • Patent number: 10900592
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and system for supporting a pipeline in a trench. The disclosure is directed to the placement of urea-silicate sprayable or pumpable foams into trenches to provide pipeline pillow supports during placement of the pipeline and to form trench breakers in the trench prior to the trench being backfilled. The pillow supports and trench breakers inhibit erosion of the trench prior to and after being backfilled. The urea-silicate foam material has an open cell content of at least 50% to resist floatation, is non-flammable and electrically conductive. Also disclosed is use of supports for placement between the urea-silicate foam and the bottom of the trench to aid in utilization of the urea-silicate foams in cold weather conditions and in trenches with steeply sloped bottoms. Preferably the supports are biodegradable and electrically conductive when wet.

  • Patent number: 10533776
Abstract: A heat storage device is revealed. The heat storage device mainly includes a heat storage tank and a heat conduction unit. A part of the heat conduction unit is arranged in a receiving space of the heat storage tank that is filled with heat storage material. The heat storage material can be material or waste easily gotten from local sources for saving transportation and manufacturing costs. The heat storage material over both the heat conductor and the heat exchanger is heated by conduction. Thus heavy metals and hazardous chemicals in the heat storage material are evaporated and separated from the heat storage material and then are cooled down and collected in solid/liquid form in a condensing unit. The residual air is flowing back of the heat storage tank along pipelines. Thereby the heat storage material is cleaned up, the waste material can be recycled and environmental pollution is reduced.
