    Abstract: A medical textile product includes a textile substrate having opposed first and second surfaces with the textile substrate including a textile construction of one or more yarns. The second surface includes a coating of a substantially water-insoluble, non-porous elastomeric sealant. The one or more yarns at the first surface are pre-treated with a removable composition, such that the water-insoluble elastomeric sealant encapsulates a portion of fibers of the one or more yarns at the second surface of the textile substrate. The textile substrate is substantially impermeable to fluid. The first surface is substantially free of the substantially water-insoluble elastomeric sealant. The textile substrate may be a non-tubular substrate, such as a planar sheet, a shaped sheet, and a tape, or a tubular substrate, such as a cylindrical conduit, a tubular conduit, a Y-shaped, a T-shaped conduit, a multi-channel conduit, and a bulbous shaped conduit.

    Abstract: A bone insert includes a cap having a convex top surface made from a plurality of cap micro struts, an elongated stem made from a plurality of stem micro struts, and a barrier between the cap and the stem. The stem of the bone insert is inserted into a hole formed in a host bone until the barrier is pressed against the exposed bone. The bone implant can be placed against a small focus contact point on the cap. Liquid cement can be injected into a large center hole in the cap and the cement can flow through the fenestrations between all of the cap micro struts as well as the space between the bone implant and the bone. The cement can cure to create a high strength structure that provides a strong bond between the bone implant and the host bone.

In one embodiment, the system is for a ball and socket joint of a musculoskeletal system. The system further includes a computer having a display configured to graphical display quantitative measurement data to support rapid assimilation of the information. The kinetic assessment measures joint alignment under loading that will be similar to that of a final joint installation. The kinetic assessment can use trial or permanent prosthetic components. Furthermore, adjustments can be made to the applied load magnitude, position of load, and joint alignment by various means to fine-tune an installation.

The implantable device is positioned upon the inner circle, and the plurality of fringes are folded inwardly to form an overlapping implant pocket which envelops the implantable device. Each fringe further has a punched opening, allowing a loop of suture thread to link each fringe together. Certain fringes are excluded from the loop to create stabilization tabs which radiate from the inner circle and are attached to a site of host implantation to stabilize the cover and the implantable device within.

If they are in double casts, then both sides would be made the same. This works for arms or legs. Again, just depends on what the individual request. The protective cast cover is meant to keep sand, or debris or even water out of the cast, and give people less stress about their situation.

    Abstract: The diagnosed soft tissue or brain injury component of concussions is generally defined by the symptoms of the temporal lobe manifestations. However, there is an undiagnosed structural fractured component of concussions occurring within the jaw joint complex which is the focus of this invention. A precise imaging technique and the powerful 3D Cone beam scanning technology, together, have revealed fractures in temporal bones of the jaw joint space which supports the temporal lobe of the brain. These fractures are the results of the lower jaw impact forces that cause concussions and this mechanism account for a large percent of the concussions arising in sports and military operations. These fractures have never been considered, diagnosed, or treated in the management of concussions. Fracturing temporal bones in the jaw joint that supports the temporal lobe will certainly produce the symptoms of temporal lobe manifestations.
