  • Patent number: 9982787
Abstract: A gate valve with secure sealing mechanism includes a main body having a valve opening, a driver disposed on the main body, a sliding seat slidingly disposed in the main body, a swing arm, and a valve member. Two ends of the swing arm are connected to the driver and the sliding seat, respectively, whereby the driver drives the swing arm to move circularly between a first and second position, thereby triggering the sliding seat to slide. When the swing arm is at the first or second position, the swing arm is biased against the route direction of the sliding seat. The valve member is disposed on the sliding seat for moving in parallel or vertical to the valve opening, thereby preventing the sliding seat from swaying when the swing arm is at the first or second locking position.

  • Patent number: 9976671
Abstract: A valve comprises a housing, a control handle rotatable relative to the housing, a flow control mechanism in the housing and connected with the control handle, stop seats formed on the housing, a locking body in contact with the control handle, stopping portions formed in the locking body and movable between a locking position in which the stopping portions engage the stop seats and a release position in which the stopping portions are moved away from the stop seats, a control surface formed in the handle. The handle is movable between a lowered position towards the housing and a position raised from the housing. In the raised position, the control surface pushes the stopping portions in the locking position and, in the lowered position, the control surface allows the stopping portions to return in the release position.

  • Patent number: 9964315
Abstract: Disclosed is a two-way check/bypass valve assembly connected between the hot and cold-water standpipes under the sink that allows convective circulation of hot water from an existing water heater, through the existing hot water distribution pipes, through the valve assembly to the cold water standpipe, through the existing cold water standpipe and distribution pipes, and back into the water heater. The convective water flow is induced by the temperature difference between the hot water in the pipe rising above the water heater, and the slightly cooled, and denser, water flowing back down into the water heater. The valve will allow this low circulation water flow so long as both hot and cold faucets at the outlet are closed, and will prevent any cross flow between the hot and cold pipes under the sink when either the hot or cold faucet is opened.

  • Patent number: 9958072
Abstract: A blind assembly for use in a piping circuit that includes a blind element and an injection system. The blind element has a planar portion that is transversely mounted in the piping circuit to block flow through the piping circuit. When the blind element is installed, it has one or more flat surfaces that are in sealing contact with another component of the piping circuit, such as a flange face, to define a sealing interface. A primary seal is provided between the blind element and the other component of the piping circuit and which circumscribes at least a portion of the sealing interface. The injection system is in communication with the sealing interface, and selectively injects a sealant material into the sealing interface to form a redundant seal in the sealing interface and around the primary seal. An injection fitting can mount to the flange for injecting the sealant.

  • Patent number: 9939081
Abstract: A control circuit includes a computing unit, which computes a target oil pressure, a duty output unit, which outputs a drive electric current based on a result of computation of the computing unit, and a dither output unit, which applies a dither signal to a linear solenoid. The dither signal is added to the drive electric current outputted from the duty output unit and is applied to the linear solenoid. The dither output unit always applies the dither signal to the linear solenoid throughout an operation. The dither output unit reduces a pulse height of the dither signal in a dead zone in comparison to a pulse height of the dither signal in a control zone. In this way, even when an axial position of a spool is changed between the control zone and the dead zone, the amplitude of dither of the spool can be made generally constant. Thereby, it is possible to limit a change in an output oil pressure.
